After reading what $62 will get me at Be Our Guest, it occurred to me that is doesn't include a beverage, correct? Somewhere I read complimentary refills, but I assume that means after you've purchased soda, ice tea or whatever.

As a Disney stockholder I say, "Bleed 'em dry" (JUST KIDDING) as a cheapskate I say :sad2:

According to a Disney Food Blog review of BOG from September 2021:

"Soda, milk, or other non-alcoholic drink options are included in the meal, whereas alcoholic beverages are not."

However, they have some signature non-alcoholic drinks which are not included in the meal. The two listed on the menu in the article are served in an "Enchanted Light-up Souvenir Cup" which explains the extra charge.

Have to say, we were disappointed with this place today. Yes, it includes soda. Don't get the pork...compared to the Filet, you get next to nothing. The filet, itself, was amazing.

Also, don't be afraid to ask for adult portions of kids menu items. They'll happily substitute for you.

Also for the price you pay, don’t be afraid to send poorly cooked food back. When we went for dinner a few years ago my daughter’s chicken was dry and inedible. We sent it back, and the replacement was probably our best food item of the trip. It was shocking how poor the initial entree was vs the replacement. I was offended, and still am, that they served us that.

Thanks. I went back to the official Disney menu again and still don't see it listed. I would think they would want to let people know that the price includes a beverage -- unless they don't advertise to encourage diners to buy a fancier beverage.

I must admit I agree. I've been twice and it strikes me as being a big cafeteria. I go solo and last year didn't make any dining reservations. Trouble with QS is that the meal is over and done with too quickly, so this year I'm making dinner reservations. Wasn't quite sure where to go, so BOG it is.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Go for the experience, not the food.

For all the hype, the food often comes out poorly cooked or cold.

We've eaten there several times and only had good QS lunches for the first couple years after it opened. Beyond that, I think they started coasting on the fact that people were flocking there no matter what the food was like. We've had enough of its unpredictability.

You'll get far better food and service at Liberty Tree Tavern or Crystal Palace, imo.

You're right, I'm going for the experience, although as I mentioned earlier it seems like a cavernous cafeteria.

I like Liberty Tree, but too much food for solo, and at one point Crystal Palace was my go-to breakfast on the last morning. I hadn't considered it for dinner, I'll check it out. Thanks for the suggestion.

The server has always informed us what's included with the meal when we have dined fixed price. I'm sure they do here too, so someone would know

Surely people do this anywhere they dine, not only at Disney. We sent food back just this past Friday night at a local restaurant, for being burnt.
