I know with the dollar rate going up and up that I should probably wait until we get there, but having already got my Disney tickets, I'd like to get my 5-park Flex tickets as well just to be sure.

What's the cheapest option for getting them over here? The Universal website charges $15 for shipping (it's the only type of ticket they won't let you pick up at the gate annoyingly) and once you've bunged on sales tax I make it $238 - about £150.

Anyone else get them for less?

Hi Steve,

We bought ours from www.ticketmania.com which had been recommended by a few people on these boards.

Our tickets worked out at £113 for the 4 park flexticket with NO shipping charges to pay. We ordered online and received the tickets through around 10 days later. The also sent the actual tickets rather than vouchers.

NB. Lunn Poly were doing an offer at the time where they offered to match any price you could get on Disney/Universal tickets. The lowest price they could offer was £125 - even though we were buying 15 tickets!!

Excellent! Just been on to the Ticketmania website and they're currently quoting $210 each (inc tax) plus no shipping costs. I don't think I'm gonna get better than that.

Thanks Sue. :)

Hi ya

Might not be the cheapest, but we paid $223 from our hotel lobby (an approved Destination Universal desk), and as we as the five day flex ticket we received a 20 % discount card good in all merchandise stores in IOA and Universal. Kinda depends on how much shopping you plan to do, but thought it may be worth knowing.

I bought my tickets for103.51 pounds from UnderCoverTourist.com, with free shipping. They are the biggest site selling tickets on the web.

I just checked their site & the 5 park flex is only $202.05 or 122.63 pounds. When i ordered on the phone they told me they were owned by Brits & my 4 park flex ticket arrived in 6 days. Free shipping. They also offerer more content than ticketmania.

I was nervous about ordering but they arrived no problems & the customer service was good too.

Is the flex ticket the best optiojn for you??

Seaworld do a Fun Card for $51.95 + tax - this gives unlimited admission to Sea World.

Universal are doing a 5 day Bonus Pass for $89.95 + tax, and at the moment it is on a buy 4 tickets get 5 if you pay with Mastercard. These days do have to be used consecutively.

We've decided to go with these 2 options, as we then know that we can spread our days out at Seaworld throughout our trip.

I think the above suggestion is a good one, but it depends on your schedule. The 5 day pass to Universal Orlando expries in 5 days consecutively, if you wish to go there 4 -5 days straight then great, but if not its a waste. If oyu are there for two weeks this ticket does not offer the flexibility.

I think it depneds on the schedule. When I am at home, I have to stick to strict schedules, on vacation I like to choose :)

Theme Park Holidays.com are currently offering the 4-Park Flex at £113 and the 5-Park at £138, while Keith Prowse are priced £127 and £150 plus a free copy of the Brit's Guide (worth a good £11.99 of anyone's money ;) ) this month, plus the full ABTA backing which you don't get with most (American) online companies.

Something also bugs me about the Daytona-based UnderCoverTourist site, as they say they have a Florida 'Sellers of Travel' certificate (a state requirement for any travel business over there) but don't display their registration number anywhere on the site that I can see. Their list of Terms & Conditions is also huge, and contains several 'get out' clauses which would worry me. I will investigate further!

Oh decisions, decisions. I'm looking at all the various options at the moment too.

I thought you could only get discounted tickets from themeparkholidays.com if you had booked the whole holiday with them?

Keith Prowse seems to be the most expensive option at the moment. Cheaper to buy from the Universal web site direct or through ticket mania.

Adult 5 park flex approx £140, childs £117 from the universal site and £131.25/£109.38 through Ticketmania.

I'd be interested to hear what you find out about undercovertourist.com Simon as they are definitely the cheapest option at the moment.

Hey why dont you call them. Maybe they would put the number online.

I used them with no problems. :)

I invited a representative from UnderCoverTourist to join this discussion forum to be on hand to answer questions relating to tickets.

They said they would be happy to, if invited, "but most forums do not wish to have promotion of sites as terms and conditions."

So I guess that can't happen, but they were helpful.

It seems to me that they are showing their prices in Pounds only, why not $, if you offer price guarantees they should be as honest as possible. There is nothing dishonest but not as honest as it could be.

For a 5 park hopper plus they are

Themeparkholidays
169 Pounds

UnderCoverTourist
159.61 Pounds

Now thats a huge difference.

Themeparkholidays also post a guaranetee

"When you book your holiday – flight and accommodation – with us, we will discount the theme park tickets for you. And we guarantee that the price we charge you cannot be bettered in the UK market – or we will refund the difference"

Also regarding the ABTA rating, an American comapny could never have an ABTA rating because it stands for "The Association of British Travel Agents", i.e. "British". American companies have the same bonding, but American.

I looked at UnderCoverTourist's terms and conditions page, what part of it worries anyone?

The reason I ask all these questions, is that it seems Simon has a relationship with the site he mentioned. I ordered from UnderCoverTourist, they were very helpful, I am a teacher and take honesty very seriously. The questions raised by him are fair, but a speedy investigation of UnderCoverTourist would be fair too.

I do not like the text on Themeparktickets, it is NOT inaccurate, it just does not SEEM fair. I for one am glad I bought from UnderCoverTourist, Ticketmania look good too.

Hi smartypants

themeparkholidays.com is a UK company, hence the reason why their prices are quoted in pounds only and why they are ABTA bonded.

Their price for an adult 5 park flex ticket is £25 more than the same ticket from undercovertourist - about $40 more expensive.

themeparkholidays.com is £25 (or $40) more expensive than undercovertourist for the 5 park flex ticket
