Cheapest way to go to Epcot for one evening?

DH will be in Orlando for a conference next month and he is thinking about going to Epcot for an evening. This would be the only time he visits the parks on this trip. We go every year in the fall, buying annual passes in alternate years and making the next trip less than 52 weeks later. Unfortunately, this is the year we will be buying our passes in October, so he has to buy some sort of ticket. We're still checking to see if he can get a discount of some type through the conference. Assuming he can't, what is the best way to go? Does Disney offer some sort of after 4 pass? Is he better buying the one day admission, or buying a multi-day pass and saving the other days for the future? If he buys the multi-day pass can he trade in the extra days toward our annual passes this fall?

Unfortunately, the after 4 pass is for FL residents. Perhaps they will have something at the conference for the people attending.
I would opt for the multiday pass the unused days can be applied to the purchase of an annual pass.

When I attended a conference at WDW last year the cost of a later in the day pass was only a couple of dollars less than a 1 day one park pass. You would be better off with a multi day park hopper pass.

When my kids are doing a karate tournament in Orlando in July. They offering an "After 2pm" pass. It cost $42 plus shipping ($7.50) and is not good for park hopping. Most conferences offer these to participants. Since a 1-day/1-park pass costs $58.31 at the gate, you would save a few bucks by purchasing the "After 2pm" pass for the both of you if you can.

Keep in mind that the conference passes usually have an expiration date on them unlike park hoppers.

If you buy the after 2:00pm tickets, just use will call. The total will only be 42.00 no shipping.
