Cheapest way from Tampa airport to Disney?

We need HELP!!!! We are flying into Tampa because I couldn't find any Orlando airfare that fit our schedule or budget. We need transportation from the airport to Disney on Wed June 29th and then we need to drive back to Tampa for a wedding then back to Orlando on the same night which is Sat July 2nd. (sorry long sentence) Should we rent a car for the 5 days or two separate ones?? Can we pick-up at tampa air and drop off in Disney?? Should we take a limo or a cab(too expensive?) I dont know what to do!!!!!! This is worse then finding the air!!!!! Thank goodness I got my AP rates last night!!!! Please help me!!!!

A car service will be way too expensive. I'd just rent the car for the whole time, otherwise you'll waste alot of time dropping off/picking up you car.

I've rented thru National when I've flown into Tampa and even though they are offsite, it's a very short shuttle ride to their lot. For 5 days I've gotten rates as low as $100 with a coupon and the Priceless vacation code.

I agree with tigger. Depending on the size vehicle you need, it could be real cheap. You can get a midsize or intermediate real cheap, and I'd reccomend that.

We need a minivan to haul big kids and 4 adults worth of luggage. Our plan is to rent a minivan at the Tampa airport and drop it off when we arrive at WL. Our tranfser to Universal will be via FL Tours limo. Our trip back to Tampa will be a one day minivan rental. With all that the airfare into ampa vs Orlando was still $200 cheaper for the family.

We're saving $352 by flying into Tampa instead of Orlando. That more than pays for the rental car. We got a Mercury Marquis from Budget for $228 for 6 days (we need the extra luggage space). This is for Oct.

I know there's a shuttle service to Orlando from Tampa, but I don't know the cost. Probably not cheap for round trip. You can find it on the Tampa Airport site under "ground transportation", as well as a list of the car companies that are right there in the airport - which we really like. You don't need a shuttle. You pick them up right there, zip out onto the highway, and you're off to Disney!
