For me at least lol! :thumbsup2 My family and I have been blessed to be able to afford Disney every year. We have stayed at every Deluxe except the GF, and BWI and every Mod except CSR. Our last trip was Poly lagoon view concierge level :cloud9: We have never attempted a Value. Well this year my daughter starts college so I attempted to downsize quite a bit. I'm taking her daughter on a mother daughter only graduation trip to Mexico so I'm not planning to take her to Disney this year since she will have already started school when I am planning to go. Well anyway back to the numbers..lol. My grand total for 7 nights including airfare, park tickets and dining for this trip is a whopping $1429 for 1 adult and two children ages 4 and 9!:cool1: How did I do it..Drumroll please.....

Airfare from NY on Southwest for 3- total- $198( Signed up for Southwest Visa promotion got two free round trip tickets!! )

PoP Century preferred room - 8/30-9/3 Kids stay and play free plus regular dining
Total ( with 7 days passes for all) -$1008

Pop Century room only with 25% discount 9/3-9/6- $223

I never tried a value before but I'm sure it will be great for the kids and at this price I will love it regardless. I think my park passes alone last year with hoppers and water parks for 5 was the same price as I'm paying for this whole trip....Just had to share!

That's great! I only go when I can get a good discount and, honestly, Disney is typically one of the cheaper vacations we take (like you this time, it's usually just me & 2 kids).

Wow you did really good! Have a great time at Disney

I signed up for Southwest Visa last year at MCO and am using my flight in October. I've accumulated nearly $200 in Disney rewards and gift cards and will add probably another 100. The day I paid my deposit, I won $200 at a ball game. I have $70 in my account with MySurvey.com. IF free dining comes through for our dates, I will pay about $175 out of pocket for my trip. Plus, I am now serving as a Nielson family, so that's $2 in cold cash they pay. hehehehe

I'm planning a real cheap trip too! My daughter and I are going in November. I had the 35% off on a value and the two free round trip Southwest tickets. I'm going to sign her up for the YES program and get discount tickets so our total trip for 7 days will be about $750.

Have you been able to purchase for Nov YES yet? I was looking into it, but several DISers wrote that there will not be any Nov dates.
TIA!
