cheapest site for photobook?

looking to do inexpensive christmas gifts for the grandparents - they love pics of their grandson. any idea which site does the cheapest photobook...also any tips on when is the best time to order?

Artscow.com has the best prices. Usually when you sign up, and many times through the year, they give you a free book, and their pages are only .50 per extra page... they were last year anyway! They have the best set up for making pages, most options on layouts, I love their site and their books. You have to be careful when ordering, be sure to give yourself plenty of time, they take about a month for shipping. If I were ordering one for Christmas I'd start working on it now and order ASAP if going through them.

Winkflash is the second cheapest I've found. The have had a lot of their flat rate book sales lately, one price for 100 pages, I think it's $20 a book. I just got an email about that recently, didn't take note how long the promo was for. You can check them out too. I was not all that impressed with their quality of book/pictures or page choices though.

For either site sign up for emails, check their facebook pages if you have it, they have a lot of sales this way.

Another vote for artscow. I just placed my order for 5 photobooks last week. I got five 23 page 8x11.5 books for $82 shipping included. Register and they will send you deals all the time. Last year I ordered some around Halloween and I barley got them in time for Christmas, like just days before. So yes order early.

Register with all of those photo book sites and you will get coupons and codes. Lots of them will offer free books to new customers. (They are generally smaller and paperback, but a free book is a free book!)

Do you do Mycokerewards? For 285 pts you can get a coupon code for a free Snapfish photo book.

Also, while I've not ordered a book from them I liked the cards I got from Artscow.

OTOH - be careful with Winkflash. I got a book from them and some of the pages were put in the book upside down. Mind you this was a couple of years ago but getting a hold of them to get it corrected was a nightmare and since I had to mail the problem book back to them I did not get the corrected book in time for Christmas even though I had originally ordered it before Thanksgiving. I have to admit also that compared to the other books I have received I was not that impressed with the quality of the pages either.
