I've got a rental car. Which route has the least tolls? Is there a route (major highways) without tolls?

The toll booths on 417 are manned, you do not need to have exact change for them, unless you get off at an intermediate exit.
There is no exit toll at exit 6 in route to WDW or at exit 17 in route to MCO.

The tolls for the 417 route are $2.50 and I believe a little less if using the 528/I4 route, but for that route there is a higher potential for heavy traffic.

Hardly worth the effort to skip the tolls and save $5.00 R/T and waste a lot of time.

I would look at it this way. Is it really worth the extra time and hassle trying to avoid the $5 in tolls (round trip), considering what you're spending to make the trip to WDW? I would think the most valuable commodity would be my time at WDW.

I'll give you a compromise.

North airport exit, left at first light (Frontage). Little over a mile to next light (Conway), left and left again at lights to get on 528 (Beach Line) West.

Since you want to save money, be careful here, keeping to the right and going down what looks like an exit ramp to pay one toll (75 cents last time I went there). You then return to 528 and at the end take I-4 west (southwest). Disney exits will appear in due time.

Returning to airport via I-4 East to 528 east, again watch for the toll ramp off to the right on 528. Get off 528 at its exit 9 (Tradeport). Left (north) and cross under. Get into middle lane. Required right (east) onto McCoy, little over a mile is 436 (Semoran). Turn right to enter airport.

Having read various complaints about exact change tolls not registering, I suggest using the manned toll booth when paying cash, and asking for a receipt.

Exactly! The $5 RT is worth every penny for next to no traffic and pretty much an easy, straight shot to Disney!

Thanks for the advice. Seems like 417 seems like a great option (only $2.50 each way).
