Cheapest place to buy canning jars...

Just wondering where the best place to purchase canning jars would be? I need about 6 or 7 dozen of the small 4 oz ones for baby shower favours. They seem pretty standard price of $9 a dozen, but I'm trying to think of somewhere online that that I could use a coupon.
Any thoughts?
I have not been to the board in awhile, but while I was searching for the lowest price I thought to check here, you guys are always so helpful and know where to get the deals

I'm not sure about online, but I know I have seen them at Big Lots in the past for a good price. You might check on Craigs List. Someone one might be cleaning out and getting rid of some.

Check with older family members if any of them canned, older neighbors. Just make usre you are getting regular an or wide mouth jars.....the old 63's are useless cannot buy lids for them anymore best I remember the mouth on them was smaller than regular jar lids they was great for juice an catusp but not much else.

If you have to buy jars wide mouths usually cost more but are also easier to fill and to wash

I see them all the time at estate and yard sales.

DH won't even let me buy them anymore because we have so many in the basement. I do sometimes pick up the small jelly jars for a friend.
