I want to make some matching shirts for all 6 of us, but I need to be cheap about it!
Who has the cheapest dark iron on transfer sheets that actually work??
Can you buy them somewhere in bulk?
Thanks!

The BEST place to get them is from Amy MICKEY. I used two other brands before hers and there is no comparison in quality. They are just a bit more expensive than WalMart or Joann's, but the quality MORE than makes up for it.

I am making 8 shirts each for all 5 of us....so 40 total. I would not even think of using any other brand. (I've actually thrown out all the other ones)

If you have the time to prepare, you could get them from Michale's.

They put a 40-50% off coupon in their add in the Sunday paper. With each reciept you get an additional coupon.

it is $10 for a 5 pack of dark transfers, so after coupon it is $5-6 for 5.

And the T-shirts (Jerzey brand) are 2 for $5 through saturday. (they have this sale about once a month)

I'd also go with Amy Mickey's transfer paper. I made a bunch of shirts for a Disneyland trip in March. They are still holding up in the wash without cracking, peeling, etc.

If you buy from Michael's or JoAnn's, you'll only get one wear before the transfers start to disintegrate.

Walmart's cracked and I am haveing to redo alot of them. There was a cheaper brand my friend bought of the internet that was not Amy's that when I washed the at disney they melted. The dryers tend to be hot at disney. I am rather be safe than sorry this year!

I used Hewlett-Packard, purchased online (they had a deal, buy two packages get one free, I think), but they did crack -- not horribly, and I kind of liked the vintage look. I've never heard of this Amy Mickeys brand -- where can you get it?

I found a really nice one at Coastal Business Supply (www.coastalbusiness.com) called JET Dark Transfer paper. It isn't cheap by any means and you can only order a 50 page pack--so if you're only making 8 shirts its not very economical--but it is GREAT paper! I have washed and dried (in the dryer) my shirts about 3 times since I got back from my end of May trip to the World and they still look brand new! :)
