Cheapest parking option at Logan Airport (Boston)

DH and I are flying out of Logan at 6:30am We would like to park the car for about a week. What the best/cheapest option? Anyone have any tips? The best deal I've seen so far is $87 for the Thrifty satellite parking or the $90 MassPort economy parking. Can I do better?

have you looked at www.preflight.com? I looked at it for DH when he was flying out of Logan; don't remember the prices but there is usually a coupon on the site you can print out also. He ended up taking Logan Express instead as he did not want to leave his work truck (full of tools etc) for a week.

Also note that pricing is per 24-hour period, not per calendar day. Most likely you'd be paying for eight days, since after the first few hours on the first day, everybody charge for full days.

Are you actually IN Boston? It'd probably be cheaper to use public transportation, or even a taxi. Plus, the advantage to a taxi is you only have to transfer your luggage once.

We are on the South Shore. I could park the car at my office and take a taxi in for about $30 each way (might do this). Unfortunately we cannot take the T b/c our flights are too early. I went to the MBTA website and it looking like the Silver line doesn't start running until about 6:30am. Can some one confirm this?

you could consider Logan Express in Braintree but that might be more money in the end

Logan Express is great if you can get someone to take you there so you don't have to pay for their parking. If you do use it just know it's kind of hard to find (I think it's the braintree one) - you have to kind of go behind the hotel there to find it.

Another vote for Preflight! We use it all the time. They run very frequent shuttles and with the coupon it tends to be the cheapest!

We're a little further out and do the bus to Logan from Foxboro. In Foxboro you can leave your car for free for up to a week, but the lot is not monitored. It does work out best if you can get someone to drop you off.
