Cheapest park-hopping option

My parents will be meeting us to stay at WDW on the Tues. and Wed. after Easter and I need advice on the cheapest park-hopping tickets available. They are both senior citizens, Florida residents, and they will be staying on-property for two nights. We plan to spend Tues. and Wed. parkhopping. I'm not sure if they'll be able to handle the parks on Thursday before the 2-hr. drive home.

I hate the idea of buying length of stay passes for 3 days when they might only do the first 2 days in the parks, but I know that we probably will spend at least one of those days "park-hopping."
Are there any other options? Can we buy length of stay passes for only 2 days when they are booked for 2 nights?

Thanks for any help!:D

They can purchase the Play 4 Days ticket when they go to WDW. Cost is $116.09 with tax. It allows park hopping. Even if they never use the final two days, they will come out ahead.

You can get a UPH for 2 days/2 nights but it will cost you substantially more than the Play 4 Days pass since it can only be purchased at the resort at the higher gate price. The UPH will run you about $145 or $150.

Thanks, GoldenOldie:D

Where can they buy those Play 4 Days tickets at? Are there blackout days with those?

Just read on Mousesavers that the Play 4 Days ticket is invalid from 4/3/04-4/15/04 (black out dates). Looks like your plans fall within that time frame. Maybe you can change your plans a bit? Good luck!

On the DVC board, it is often mentioned that the Ultimate Park Hopper Pass can be purchased minus the first and/or last day, so check into that.

I thought the play 4 days was only for Florida residence. But I'd love to be wrong for that price.

Yes, you are correct. I forgot Easter was on 4/11 this year. That means that the Play 4 Days ticket won't work. The Tuesday and Wednesday after Easter will only be the 13th and 14th. :(

In that case, the best option for the OP would either be the 2 day/2 night UPH at the resort or an advance purchase of the 3 day PHP through Alamo.

djm99: Play 4 Days is only for Florida residents. The OP stated her parents are Florida residents, thus my original suggestion.

You could buy a multi day park hopper pass and use the never expire days on the next trip.
