We are leaving a week from today to drive to Disneyland. We have a portable DVD player and are in need of some restocking of a couple of DVDs (Lilo and Stitch scratched too deeply, don't have Cinderella, yet.) Who, in general, has the cheapest DVDs in the stores (don't have time to order on-line). My Costco membership is expired and don't want to spend the money (right now) to renew, so that's not an option.

Oh, and If you have a blockbuster nearby, since they don't charge late fees anymore, you can always rent a few extra for the trip.

I agree with Walmart.
or you can try netflix. sometimes they give out free trial offers for 2 weeks or something like that.

just to let you know dvds are the one item you should get when they first come out, they rarely will go onsale cheaper than that. other than that the best you can do is probably used on amazon, deepdiscountdvd.com, and ebay come to mind.

Why not try blockbuster? they sell previously viewed DVD's at a discount. I have bought several that I didnt have any problems getting to play.

I was at Walmart today and the Cinderella dvd is $15 and change..they also have the one with the music cd for $19 and change..that is pretty good

Other than the 2/$11 DVDs you can find at Walmart, we typically go for previously viewed movies - especially the ones that we wanted to watch but never got around to. For previously viewed movies, we use:
Blockbuster
Hollywood Video
EBGames
GameStop
FYE

FYE, GameStop and EBGames also accept movie trade-ins -- great way to get rid of those you don't want to watch anymore. You might just find some of the Disney movies there.

Hollywood Video (if you have one in your area) always has previously viewed DVDs on sale. Right now they have some of the one for halloween season for 2/$10! You can get most others for 4/$30, 4/$20, etc. We always buy our DVDs like that and they are always in great condition. I believe that they can be exchanged if they don't work for some reason. We have never had a problem, though.
