Whats the cheapest deal someone's managed to do for a WDW trip? I managed around £850 with hotel, flight, car hire and tickets to all the theme parks ... someone I know managed it for £725 but I think he was telling fibs . He obviously doesn't know his nose will grow if he carries on lke that...

I'm starting to plan for next years trip now . I usually stay at the Rodeway Inn on I-Drive and get a 4-day hopper ticket to WDW (Sea World and Universal added on top!) . I usually spend the second week in St Pete's on the Gulf coast but I'm not sure where our seocnd week will be this time. Any suggestions as to other areas Florida or other states you've been to? San Francisco was nice so might try there again... any suggestions gratefully received

Cheapest we managed it for was £2300 for 5 of us,not including park ticket's.

Our next trip works out at £771 per person for 2 weeks including tickets which are the 14day ultimate and 4 park flexi

Wow that really is cheap! That £850 was for me and my sister sharing a room in the hotel. The cheapest we ever did it was when we rented a villa but there were 8 of us on that trip and I don't know how much it cost (my dad paid for my trip! Those were the days... ). What do you guys do to get it that cheap for the 5 of you? There's going to be two, maybe three of us next year. Can't wait

Guess it depend's on the time of year you want to go,we always go in feb so that usually makes it cheaper.


I have just had a look for next year but a month later and it come's out at that for just 4 of us.


It also work's out cheaper pp if more of you go.We took my dad this time but he was added after we had already booked.All he needed to pay was his flight,£212.As everything else had already been paid for by us.


I know there as been lots of post about them on here but they really are cheap and if your not bothered about having all the frill's of the likes of virgin,ba,They are a good option.Plus it gives you more to spend in wdw.

Definately not bothered about flying in a posh plane or staying in posh hotels etc... Thatnks for that name, will definately give them a look!

i must think about arranging a d i y holiday next year.myself DH DD15 DS13 are staying a WDW this sept and the cost with virgin will be just under £6000 and thats without any park tickets.

i have booked our holiday myself. 3 adults and 2 kids
flights with virgin,villa,park tickets and car all from different companies
we are flying with virgin
have a 4 bed villa with pool heating
a 4x 4 suv
5 day disney hopper,5 park flexi ticket, tickets for cirque du solieil,pirates dinner adventure and boggy creek boat rides.
for three weeks in may
grand total£4515.00
by doing it the way ive done it we have saved quite a bit of money...

In the olden days when it was DH and myself, we could usually get fly drives from TCD for about £150 each. The best deal ever on a hotel was a Best Western at the Florida Mall for $21 a night!! And it was a great hotel with a big pool!

I think we got an ace deal this year from Virgin. 4 of us, Virgin flights, full size car and all insurances, 2 weeks accomodation at Animal Kingdom Lodge, plus another weeks fly drive, for £600 each. We have APs from December's trip, so only our Sea World tickets are required on top. Considering we are flying over the busy October half term and going for 3 weeks, I think that is a mega bargain! So much of a bargain in fact, that Ive pretty much talked DH into concierge at one of the monorail resorts for our final week . If wanted to keep costs down though, we would book a private villa (probably for about £300 for the week).

We got an early booking discount, frequent virgin discount, plus (after A BIG bust up!!) I got them to apply the "Kids for a Quid" deal that they did last Autumn (4 months after I booked). They also gave me the extra weeks fly drive for free as I had so much hassle over the kids deal (about 20 phone calls stretched over a week!).

This is the first holiday for ages that I booked out of a brochure (but direct with Virgin Holidays) and there is no way I could have done it cheaper myself this time.

I have already booked for Christmas 2006 - Flights, car hire and insurance with BA for 4 comes to £1396 plus our accommodation - 2 weeks at the Sheraton Grande Vistana Resort at £200 total equals £399 per person. Just park tickets to go on top.

We shied away from timeshare for a very long time but have had nothing but good experiences from the weeks we have bought in Spain and have actually bought one week specifically to swop into the 5* resorts in the US. This works out at a two weeks accommodation in the US every other year for £200 for the four of us.

Wouldn't suit everyone but it works for us.
