Cheapest/best quality prints??

DD's computer just crashed so I'm determined to get all my photos off my computer and printed, but it's been a while. I have alot more than I want to do at Walgreens, so what company is the best quality and cheapest?

I use Winkflash. I have tried Snapfish, Shutterfly, Creative Memories and a few others. I think Winkflash has the best quality of these, and probably the best prices. And the shipping rates are comparable, if not better - at least the last time I compared.

I will occasionally use Mpix, but these are usually the "nicer" prints for the wall and sometimes for the grandparents. They are more expensive though. I use Winkflash for my scrapbooking prints, everyday "snapshots", etc.

If it helps, I try to keep up with getting my pictures printed - and I have placed orders for several thousand pictures at once from Winkflash. I usually have those orders delivered in about a week. And the total is not nearly as high as one might think!! My hubby freaks when I start ordering pictures!!

I go to walmart.com and do them and they come out pretty well! They are only 9 cents each for a 4x6 if you have it delivered to your house- but then you have shipping! So I always do the site to store for 15 cents a 4x6 and they are ready in about 4-5 days- they also have a 1 hour photo option for 15 cents a print! I hope that this helps!


****I forgot to look at your photos when you pick them up and if the quality is not good (I have honestly not had a problem with this yet) they don't charge you for that one!

I would suggest buying an external hard drive and/or copying them all to DVDs. I use both backup methods every time I copy pics to the computer.

Call me paranoid, but DD had her's backed up to two different external drives and still thought she had lost everything. Luckily a very techie friend managed to get them off one of the backup drives.

I used Artscow to print some 5X7's from DD's Make A Wish trip to Hawaii and love them! The quality makes them look like post cards!
