Taking a cab (some people use Uber). It's faster and it can be less expensive than a shuttle.

What we did was rent an Alamo car at FLL, then drive to MIA airport, then take the free shuttle from there to the port. (And reverse coming back)

Not sure how the timing/pricing will work for you, but might be worth a look.

Yes great point. In all reality I should have just asked quickest way to get to the port!

We've used SAS transportation, they are efficient and reliable at $15 per person for a shared van. It may not be the quickest however. An official taxi will run you about $85, while using a service like Uber or Lyft will be about $40.

We used jiffy Jeff transportion $15pp one way. We needed booster seats since we didn’t bring our own and they provided them.

If you're looking for fast, I personally wouldn't recommend shared shuttle. Had a bad experience with an airport pickup. We ended up going to pick up folks from Hard Rock, and it took forever to get to port.

has anyone priced a private car with Jiffy Jeff? Or would it be cheaper to Uber? I've gotten spoiled using a private car service when I have to travel for work, but the frugal side of me says the shared ride van is fine.
