Has anyone found much of a diffrence in price when looking to fly into a city in america compared to others?

What i mean is, we are looking to go to america in the summer including west coast or east coast or orlando or both (basically which place has the right price) so it wouldn't really matter which airport we fly into because the connecting internal flights are really quite cheap. So in otherwords does anyone know of a city that is cheaper to fly into than others?

I hope that makes sense... i found it quite hard to explain!

I am not sure that they follow a pattern, it might be down to time of year, availability, where you're flying from or particular airline promotions. I have always found that flying to the East coast , we've got good deals on Boston Logan and Newark. Flying to the West coast we've got better deals to LAX than to San Francisco. I don't know if this is typical.

New York (JFK and Newark) are and virtually always have been the cheapest airports to travel into from Europe. Unfortunately once you are on the ground it rapidly turns into the most expensive.

Don't know what the fares are now but a few weeks ago Jetblu were offering return flights between New York and Orlando for just over $130. Now that is cheap.
