Cheapest "2 park, 1 day" tickets for 2 adults?

I want to treat me DS & his new fiance to a day at Universal & IOA (Thursday December 4). They are staying at the Pop Century resort. What is the cheapest and easiest way to do this? I have less than a month and we all live in Canada so mailing is probably long and expensive. I need to arrange Mears bus transportation and passes for the two of them, and as soon as possible!

I want to use my credit card, but don't want them to take my card with them.
So what's the experts' advice?

If they do not have a car , Dreams Unlimitted has a 1 day 2 park ticket with transfers from Mears for $ 85.99 each.

Still deciding if this is a good deal myself.
