Cheaper Digital camera recommendations

I usually hang out on the budget board as you can tell from my price budget for a new camera. I have an old HP photosmart 3mp that was great, but I changed the batteries a month ago and I get no power at all. Yes, I have tried 3 sets of new batteries. Nothing. Suggestions of what is wrong with it are welcome.

This is the only reason I am in need of a new camera. What do you recommend that is under $150?

My wants:

Would like at least 5-6mp.
I also want to use SD cards since I already have several of them.
AA batteries
I really want a viewfinder too, but am finding this hard to find.

Please make suggestions. Thank you in advance.

I would say the Panasonic LZ3 is best value.

I doubt you can find any OTHER camera with either 6x optical zoom or OPTICAL image stabilization in the $150 price range.

The LZ3 has both.

Uses SD
Uses AA batteries
5mp
but no viewfinder.
