I have been searching for weeks for reasonably priced airfare for our trip to WDW the week of Thanksgiving. Prices are going up instead of down. Because I live in a smaller town in the midwest and Southwest airlines doesn't fly from our airport so they are not a option. I found a website called cheapair.com and they are nearly $100 cheaper than the airlines, Orbitz and Travelocity/Expedia. Has anyone ever used them or even heard of them. I am unsure of booking with them. TIA.

looks like according to their "intro" page that the site is not UP and running as yet and is just a prototype......

so if you plugged in your "travel" plans you might not be getting a true picture but a demo of what is available...

but they do offer a phone number to call....

is that how you got your cheaper quote emerald

just tried it now and they even pull up southwest rates....which seem current...but they do add a "processing fee" of 9.95 to the costs......

I would be sure to read all the fine print. It used to be and may still be that when buying through some of these sites that in the event of a cancellation, delay the airlines didn't have to accomodate you.

They took the attitude that you bought your ticket through Priceline, etc. not them. So be careful if they are $100 cheaper there must be a reason.

I clicked through the prototype website and plugged in my info. Did get the rate from there. I am going to call them today and see if I can get any additional information from them. I checked into BBB and they didn't have any complaints against them. I have used priceline before to get tickets and was please and had no trouble with the airlines. Priceline didn't work for me this year and encouraged me to accept their counteroffer which is more than the airlines are costing. Thanks for your assistance.
