any suggestions? Looking into diamonique, fell in love with a ring, but someone commented that after one day one the stones fell out :headache:

Our JC Penney has a line of fake diamonds. I don't know how they hold up as I've never bought them. They look really nice in the case though!

my DD received a pair of diamonique earrings (this is QVC, right?) from her great-grandmother about 3 years ago, and she still wears them almost daily, and they're gorgeous. no one can tell they're not real.

there can be lemons with any brand. I have a Diamonique set from QVC that I adore!!!! I bought it as a travel ring and it has become my main ring :rotfl2:. It is STUNNING, and after 2 years, I scratched the stone working in the yard, and QVC replaced the stone in 2 weeks -- no charge!!!

I can't recommend it highly enough.

o wow, i didn't know that they would replace it!
the ring I want it 1 1/2 carats (3 stones), people who know me know we cant afford that lol, but its 14k which is why I really like it. What should I do? LoL

Wow... its been many, many years since I bought my mom some Diamonique(like maybe 20 ?). It was my first thought when I saw this thread. Nice to know the majority agrees that QVC is the place to go for simulated stones.

I put the order in for the ring I want, so I will let you all know when it gets here. Hope I got the right size, tried my mom's rings on and she knows she's a 6 and it was too big on me, so I went with the 5.

Ok, I am done today with shopping.

I see you've already ordered - hope it turns out great. I just wanted to follow up on the stone falling out story. I bought my Diamonique ring to wear to horse shows. Anybody who know much about horseshowing knows it can be rough on your jewelry.

We use a wagon, but you still have to handle the feed, hay bales, bales of stall shavings. etc. Then there's saddle pads and saddles, not to mention banging your ring on the trailer, stall, or whatever else happens to get in the way. The worst thing that I've had happen with mine is that one of the prongs got caught on something and bent. I used some pliers and pulled it back into place - can't tell at all.

Even with all that hard use, I cannot begin to tell you the number of people who have had a fit over my ring. Truth is, it really is beautiful, even after all of that. ;)

Thanks happy to hear everyone's good experiences with diamonique. My mom also has purchased diamonique for years (earrings) never had a problem. I just hope i ordered the right size, I did their size chart thing with my current ring, but it it was showing a size 7 and if a 6 was too big, how could a 7 be right?

ok, I got the ring the other day, honestly tell me what you think, does it look like a fake? I know its probably hard to tell in the pic lol it doesn't help that I'm not good with a camera.

what kind of a band would I pair it with?

The center stone is just like mine! I love it!

It's beautiful! Enjoy.

I think it looks great. In my case, I don't wear a band with mine at all. The ring is significant enough on its own.

My daughter doesn't wear a band with her ring either (which is real). It's a unique design that she fell in love with when she saw it. She tried a couple of different bands before they got married, but none of them looked right with it so she just doesn't wear a band at all.

It doesn't look like a fake at all. And anyone would look down on you even if they found out isn't worth the air they breathe. :goodvibes

It is lovely! It looks perfect! I'd do a simple gold band, or a chanel-set diamonique band.

Its hard to tell much from the picture, but it looks really nice! If you love it, that is all you should worry about. Don't worry about whether others think it looks fake.

Maggie

It's very pretty! Nice choice.

If you really want a band to go with it, a simple gold band or the diamond channel band would be a very nice compliment.
