I need an offsite hotel for one night during a visit in late September/early October. Anyone have any suggestions? I'd like as cheap as possible but still clean and well kept. Any ideas, thoughts, suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Greetings,
Try the Comfort Inn LBV. Not the Ritz but it is reasonable and it is in a great location.

This is not an auction, so not as great of a deal as they usually have.

Priceline would also be a great option for you if you don't need more than a room

I also like Hotelkingdom

You are going during a less busy time, so you should be able to find good deals.

We will be staying at the Rodeway Inn near Universal on July 9. Webmaster Barry stayed there in May and had this to say:
Re: Rodeway Inn
I thought it was a good, standard hotel. It was clean and decent. There's a microwave and fridge in the room (which I didn't use). There's a restaurant downstairs, but you can also find numerous places to eat down I-Drive.

Have fun!

I'm paying less than $50 for the night total, but he got it off priceline or one of the other similar sites for $40 or less.

Country inn and suites Downtown Disney, 49.00 a night on their web site. This is a very clean Hotel with very Friendly Service.

We stayed at the Executive Inn on Irlo Bronson Dr the night we arrived in Orlando after a 14 drive from Nashville. There was a coupon in the book we rec'd at the visitor's center on I-75 advertising the room for $49 but when we got there the $49 rooms were "sold out" yea......right....... We ended up taking a room at $59 which considering how much everything else cost it wasn't tooooo bad. The hotel looks pretty good from the outside and had an average hotel style pool. The room was your standard 2 double bed room but the A/C didn't work. DH worked w/it some and was able to get the compressor to kick on after
calling maintance to come up. It started cooling off somewhat but in the middle of the night it quit working and ended up sleeping in a very stuffy and warm room. Needless to say we were glad to get out.

However, if you are looking for a GREAT offsite property near SW and US, try the Embassy Suites on I-Drive So. This place is awesome. I was able to get a $59 rate for a 1 bdrm suite w/MW and fridge, and full breakfast daily. It was an awesome property and I highly recommend it to anyone. Service great, room spotless, food great, gift shop very reasonable, great location. I definitely recomend this property.
