Me and my 14yo boys are not jacket wearers, but plan to during formal and semi nights.

Where's a cheap place to to pick up some suit/dinner jackets, since we'll only be wearing once? Didn't find a whole lot on Ebay.

Do you have Kohl's Department Stores in KY? I bought my son a nice jacket there for a reasonable price ($39) and he's already worn it 3 times since Easter. I figure if he gets a couple more wearings during our August cruise, it will be money well spent. With a little luck it might still fit him well enough for next Easter too!

Other places to look would be J.C. Penney or Sears.

What about a local thrift store? I didn't want to buy three jackets for three growing boys. I found an awesome jacket for my oldest ds for 95 cents and complete suits for my other two ds for $10 each. HTH

All those are great options..and don't forget to check garage sales and the clearance racks of places like pennys and sears..especially right now...clearing out all the easter suits and such for boys.

I also vote for a trip to the consignment /thrift store. Boys don't wear jackets long enough to wear them out, so they're bound to be like-new.

Another option might be renting a tux. It might be as cheap as buying a jacket that wont' be used again, and you won't have to pack it.
