Cheap items for a Child's stocking?

Thanks everyone!!! I made a list & am going out today to try & get a few things... You guys really had some good ideas!

Wal-Mart also has Disney Paddle-balls for 88 cents. They have princess, Nemo, Pooh and Lion King at mine.

Magazines. there big and thick(some of them) and take up alot of space in those stockings. There is the Disney, Nick, wrestling etc.
I also buy video or movie gift cards, playing,baseball cards.

I get a Hallmark ornament at 75 percent off from the year before. I just went to the $5 and Below store -- DD wanted toe socks, gloves and a scarf. I found some cool magnets for DS 14 locker and $1 yo-yo's. They always love them. I'll get some school supplies too, like post-its, white out pens, funky pens. For the older boys I might get some movie tickets and GC to the candy store and the mini-golf/go-cart place. Deodorant, flavored floss, other toiletries. They love Altoids in the little tins, some cool Pez dispenser. I just pick up whatever is little and catches my eye from now until Christmas. One year I gave my son snowman poop (little marshmallows) he thought that was the funniest. I attached a funny cartoon of a snowman pooping with it.

Crayons, watercolor paints, play-doh, matchbox cars, markers, stickers. Of course, my kids are younger than yours. You could do chapstick, candy, movie rental gift certificates, fruit, CDs, etc..

My mom always used to find pens and pencils with our names on them. In fact, she STILL does this.

Trading Cards--I'd bet your 10 y/o DS would like some Yu-Gi-Oh cards, no?

Personalized pencils are always cool, but you need enough advance time to have them made up.

Blockbuster gift cards and mini packs of microwave popcorn.

Ok, now don't everybody jump all over me for this one but I've actually put a couple of the Christmastime scratch off lottery tickets in my kids stockings. They love doing the scratch offs and if they win anything, the money is theirs to keep when I take the tix back to the lottery outlet. (I know I'm in for a lecture on this one! )
