Hi everyone,
I'm looking at doing a Disney/universal trip very end of April and into May. I've been looking all over the web for cheap, yet still decent hotels! My boyfriend and I are doing the trip on a student budget so we're really not that picky but we're looking for a hotel that has shuttles to both parks and is cheap! So far we're looking at the HoJo Parkside Inn and the Knights Inn. Both have pro's and cons, little worried about the Knights inn in terms of cleanliness, but like I said, we're definatly not neat freaks! Beggers can't be choosers! Any input on those hotels or anything else would be very much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

hojo gets worst reviews here.

now this place is pretty okay - been there and would definitely be back

there is a quality inn next door that seems fine too - both are really, really close.

Check on Hotwire for their deals. Usually around $30-35 for a 2 star hotel near Disney and they show the amenity icons next to the hotel deal (although not the hotel name until you book). Good luck!

Great place to stay, but dont book it direct with them. We use this site for here. http://www.hotelmartusa.com/ Did have some good rates about $44 but looks like $56 for end April, (includes tax).

Where ever you decide to stay, please call the front desk before you book and inquire about the shuttle schedules. So many hotels advertise shuttles, then only have 1 RT each day. Some don't even run them every day, just a couple of times a week.

Also, if you're not having a car, make sure you find out it their are place to eat close to your hotel that you can safely walk to. There are many hotels that are close to no resturants.

Thanks so much for the advice! wayneg, which hotel were you referring to? The Hojo or Best Western? Thanks

The Best Western Lakeside, but as Kimberle says ring and check bus schedules first if you are considering here, We saw buses calling every morning but dont know where they go to.
