cheap hotel near Angels Stadium

Hi, I'm looking for some help. My boyfriend decided he wants to see the Angels vs. the Mariners at the end of May so now I need to find a hotel. I have a couple thoughts:

1) Find a hotel near the stadium within walking distance so we don't have to worry about parking at the stadium.

2) But if there are cheaper hotels about 20-30 minutes away, then I wouldn't mind driving from the hotel to the stadium and parking there.

3) I have two more trips planned to DL in June and August. I've been hearing a lot about the Entertainment Book rate at the HoJo. Would it make sense for me to get the book and stay at the HoJo for all three trips? Is that about the cheapest hotel rate I'll find or can I do better by continuing to look around.

I got a pretty good price for Ayres Anaheim right across the street from the Honda Center/Angels Stadium. It was an AWESOME hotel!!! Check them out..I got good pricing through hotels.com
