I like the idea of having a "living area" where you can relax and watch tv for a while, or make a snack and eat it at least at the coffee table on the sofa as apposed to the bed. We will be staying for 8 nights, and daughter and her son have a tight budget so we plan on doing a grocery shop when we arrive and making some light meals to help her out (especially now that they have cut out the afternoon meal there) Grandson still naps everyday, so we thought for all of us or whomever is in the room with him while he's napping, it would be nice to be able to sit and watch tv without disturbing him. for us, it will just work better I think. It's hard to say about the size because they are configured differently, it does look like the main area of the 3Q is bigger. I like that there are 2 vanity areas in the other one though, makes it easier for getting ready for our situation, as in daughter takes a long time with the hair/makeup thing. while she's doing that in the main area, hubby and I can be taking turns in the bathroom. plus there's a small kitchen sink another person could use if need be. the 3Q only has the one sink. It all depends on how your family functions I guess. I will for sure post here after we have stayed, if I remember to bring the cable for my camera I will even upload photos! Oh also, we will all be sleeping in the bedroom area, no one will have to use the queen sleeper sofa. I don't know how comfortable that would be, for younguns it would probably be fine
