Cheap Glow Stick Alternative @ Walmart

I just found a battery powered chemical free Glow Stick at my local walmart back in Sporting Goods in the flashlight section for $1.00 with a safety break-apart lanyard. It is made by Garrity called Fun-Tastick. It says it will operate continuously for 24 hours. It looks just like the Tube style Glow Sticks. It was permanently Marked down from $3.00+ each. They had a similar one from Everready for almost $4.00 each.

I purchased two of these a few weeks ago for $1 a piece. I also purchased a Hannah Montanta life vest that was on clearance for $5.

I love these and the best part is in the long run it's cheaper than the dollar store ones because you can reuse them over and over.

OH, these look great, I NEVER find anything at my walmart though I'll try!!

It appears to be disposable, one the batteries die, but I haven't looked that close at mine to determine if they can be changed. It has 4 batteries in it, so more than likely the batteries are going to cost more than a new one would.

This got me thinking...The kids love having glow sticks in the park. I was reading some posts and it seems like my kids aren't the only ones! We are planning a big family trip including cousins and a few of my kids friends. So I started doing some shopping around and I found a great spot to get these in bulk for really cheap! Some are 30 cents per piece! Can't beat it.
