Hello all super budget buyers,

My DD wants a glow in the dark birthday party this year. Has anyone seen any cheap glow in the dark items or led items out there. I have been to the dollar store and got some glow necklaces and bracelets but I am looking to be the cool mom and find some neat favors for 24 kids.

TIA,

http://extremeglow.com/Merchant4/merchant.mvc?Screen=SFNT is where I go for bulk, but the Dollar Tree is good for not buying bulk.

I also really like extreme glow. Their prices are great and the quality is excellent. The only downside is shipping is a bit high.

Micheal's should have glow in the dark tshirt paint. You could paint tshirts or bandanas/headbands, whatever. You might check Party City in the costume area for glow in the dark nail polish.

Target sometimes has them in their $ area. Dollar tree also has an assortment of necklaces, bracelets, sticks etc too.

I got glow in the dark silverware at Michael's and we used them at Animator's Palatte when we cruised in August.

I also had a glow in the dark HW dinner party and although you didn't ask for additional ideas, here's what I did. I got plain white paper plates and clear plastic plates about the same size. Put the white plate down first, then put a glow in the dark necklace on top (made into the circle shape of course) and then put the clear plate over the top. It was too cool. We had sort of a "mad scientest" theme which would be really fun for a boys party.

I also took the glow in the dark sticks (they are about 4 inches long) and put them in stemmed glassware and called them my "test tubes". If you're able and willing to put some $$ into the party they have glow in the dark drinking glasses and also glow in the dark "ice cubes". I'm stocking up on those because we are planning to do the glow in the dark party every HW from now on because it was so neat!

Have fun!

Do a search for Glowbys on eBay. They are fiber optic, not glow in the dark but I think very cute (maybe even cool) for girls. I think you could get them for less than $3 each. I'm going to order some for our next Disney trip.

I picked up some glow in the dark nail polish yesterday at Claire's.
