cheap flights to Orlando in sept?

I am looking for a cheap flight out of Ottawa or Montreal in September and hving no luck (I want to pay 350 or less per person - is that do-able???)

Which internet sites do you check out when trying to find a cheap flight ?

(and yes, I can fly from the USA - but I would prefer not to. My youngest gets ill if she is overtired - and driving 3 hours to Syracuse is not how I want to spend our flight day)

I am also going in September. I always fly out of Detroit. Alot cheaper. There are 3 adults and two children
So far I have found the following

Continental 1678.40 CDN
Spirit Airlines 1248.00 US
Southwest 967.00 US

Sometimes they charge extra for baggage.

Hope this helps and let me know if you get any good deals. Airtran is the cheapest but I've never flown them but hear they are okay.

I can get 1320 can out of syracuse (which is Closer for the Ottawa folks) on United.

I am going to check airtran - and see if they fly out of Syracuse!

It's not impossible but very hard to get flights from Canada for $350 max. Your best option is a flight from the US. Right now from Buffalo there are flights for $59 each way to MCO in Sept. If that extra drive is hard on the kids drive over the night before.

I got a Westjet deal out of Pearson (Toronto) to Orlando for $1100. That is for 3 people, taxes and seat selection. I think its a great price!

Hi Kathy. I have PM'd you but I thought I'd let you know, I just priced your trip from TO to Orlando again and it's $307 per person total price with all taxes (canadian $ of course) round trip. Depart at 10:30 am and arrive in Orlando at 1:07pm. Direct flight. Coming home would be depart at 2:00 and arrive home at 4:40. As another poster suggested, maybe drive the day prior and do park and fly. We do this all the time and find it very convienent. We booked our flight a month ago for Sept 15-24 with Westjet. We got $99 seat sale each way, but now when I look up the prices the return flight has gone up to $179 so if you are considering Westjet I would book soon. You can book on-line or by phone direct with Westjet, price wise there is no difference. Good luck with what you decide

It might be worth the drive down the 401 for it (it is a tad farther than syracuse, but no border and direct flight might make up for it!)

There are direct flights from Syracuse for $99.00. I don't know your dates in September but you can get $219.20 return including taxes.
