An old sign at a garage I took my cars too a long time ago applies to Disfood too.
CS food tends to be fast and cheap but good....not so much although there are some individual items that can be tasty.
TS tend to be pretty good and can be fast unless there's a big backlog or a late seating but cost roughly double what a similar amount of food at a CS would be.
Character Buffets are fastish and cheap considering what Disney charges for the costumed entertainers but food is generally not as good as most TS places.There is a pretty good variety available so it's pretty easy to find something you'll like.
Signature places are niether fast nor cheap but the emphasis is Quality and Disney does good food pretty well and the theming is an extra bonus.
