Please forgive me if this has been posted before but I just discovered it myself and had to share! 1800diapers.com has super cheap deals on brand name diapers!! DS is 8 weeks old and I have to buy the Pampers Cruisers because he leaks in the cheaper brands. I really hate to shell out bucks but this site has them for really, really cheap and with free shipping if you spend $45 or more. Plus no sales tax which makes me happy ... :thumbsup2
Enter in this code when you register: KABE9197 and you will save $2 off your first purchase. Then they will give you a referral code of your own and if you send it out everytime a person who signed up with it makes a purchase your acct gets credited $1. Good deal! Plus they now take manufacturer coupons - you just have to mail them to them and they will credit them to your account. They sell wipes and formula too although I haven't priced those items to see how good the deal is. If it's like the diapers though it is a good deal!

Thanks

Im gonna check them out thanks for sharing, I have a 11 month old in diapers and a 2 year old that wears diapers to bed and when we take her out, so we usually spend lots of money on diapers :goodvibes

I saw this site mentioned in a baby magazine but have yet to check it out. Thanks for reminding me.....

Edited to add: Just checked out this site, and unfortunately the prices are much more expensive than at BJ's (which is currently the cheapest place I have found for diapers). My son wears Pampers Cruisers size 3 and they sell a 198 ct. box at BJ's for $36.99 plus I usually have a $1.50 off coupon so that comes to 18 cents a diapers while this site it is 23 cents a diaper. I also checked the formula prices and BJ's and Sam's are cheaper there as well, but currently I have found Target to have the best price per ounce with their 20% more bonus cans that they currently have.

Yes I have looked at them before, but their prices are way higher then Target, Walmart and other stores here. You should look around, diapers must be REALLY expensive in your area if this is a good deal.

:) The Huggies Mega pack that is 20.99 on there is 17.49 at my Target! And I can use coupons immediately to bring it down to 16.00.

The bigger huggies box Size 4 has 156 diapers for $37. Even at Vons (grocery stores are notoriously expensive here for diapers) Huggies box of the same brand has only 126 but is only $30. Still works out to 1 cent cheaper per diaper than 1800diapers and you can use the coupons immediately.

For anyone who needs it Toys R Us has $5 off any Huggies box of Diapers right now, and you can use a manf. coupon on top of that. So the boxes are $29.99, but can be as low as $23.50 if you have a coupon.

Also my Target had Huggies boxes of diapers (Supreme) clearanced for 22.10 each, because Huggies is changing all their packaging. If you have a coupon, it would be really great, a big box of Supreme for $20.

Sorry to hijack, just wanted to make sure you get the best deal. I guess if I were somewhere remote and I didn't go to these stores often, it would pay to have them shipped free rather than drive and use gas, but for me, I am always there anyways! :)

As someone who will soon have to buy diapers again. What are your favorite brands, especially for girls? I used Luvs when my boys were little.

I have tried a few different kinds of diapers for my daughter, and Pampers work the best. They keep her skin dry and do not leak as much as other brands.

The cheapest way that I have found to purchase diapers is to go to the Pampers website. They sell gift certificates for the large box of diapers. If you purchase a pack of 10 certificates, it will work out to a little more than $10 per box. My daughter wears size three. There are 104 diapers in the box. I take the gift certificate to Walmart and get the $20.00 box of diapers for "free" because I already paid for them through the Pampers website. The cashiers always ask where I got the certificates because they are such a good deal. They also make for great baby shower gifts.

A bonus is that there are points inside of each box. You can enter them on the Pampers website and use the points to get different things for your child.

I have tried a few brands and I like the Pampers Cruisers the best. They fit my son well and keep the moisture away from his skin. I did not like the Pampers baby dry (didn't stretch around him) or the Huggies (just didn't fit him right at all). I also tried the WalMart brand (Parents Choice) on recommendation from a friend, and while the fit and absorption was fine, it didn't wisk away the moisture from his skin so I had to change him all the time.

It is so different for every baby's body shape. Some are long and narrow, and some are short and solid. Pampers swaddlers are my absolute favorite for newborn and size 1 and 2. Then I used Cruisers on my girls the entire time, tried LUVS once and they didn't work so I stayed faithful to pampers. My girls were really big and Huggies were way too narrow for them.

Then when my son was born this year, I used Swaddlers again, they are so soft, I wish they would make them in all sizes. Then I went to Cruisers but I cannot stand the new mesh liner inside, so I tried Huggies Supreme. They work alright as my son is the smallest and skinniest of all three. But now I found Costco Kirkland diapers and I love them. So that's what we use now.

Good luck and try a few kinds until you find one you like. I know that can be hard and then I change them a million times just trying to blow through the pack, butit's worth it to find one that really works for you.

If you don't mind me asking, how do you do this? I just went to the site, they are $12 each but they specifically say only for the Jumbo pack of diapers which is not the box! Does it not say that on the coupon, that would be awesome. The jumbo pack is only about 40 size 4's, not almost 90 or so like a box is! Thanks

I have found Wal-Mart and Big Lots to be the cheapest for diapers. Big Lots sells these little tikes diapers that work really good. They are only like $13 for the size 3 108 pack. Whenever they get the Little Tikes diapers, I will buy those, but if they don't have them, I buy Pampers at Wal-Mart. The Pampers at Wal-Mart are $20 for the big box (or $16 for the 108 pack). I usually have coupons for $2 to $3. Big Lots doesn't take coupons, though.

Best Diapers: Pampers and Little Tikes

Worst Diapers: Huggies and Luvs (They gave all my babies rashes and the huggies leak because of their so-called baby-shaped fit)

Best Wipes:Huggies (any kind-Shea butter is our favorite for the moment)

Worst Wipes: Pampers-they are so thin, you can hardly wipe the baby's bottom. The store brands are even better than them most of the time. Plus, they are so scented, you nearly gag at the scent and baby breaks out.

DITTO!!!! I cannot emphasize this strongly enough. I hate Pampers wipes, they are so thin you feel like it gets on your hands when you wipe the baby! YUCK! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Huggies wipes, I also like the Shea Butter, but the Supreme are my favorite wipes ever. Plus they are still pull apart, where the other ones are the pop-ups now. I always include a pack of Huggies Supreme wipes with every baby shower gift just because they are the best!

I always give huggies supreme, too. I like those ridged ones for the baby shower gifts and the fragrance-free are best for newborns.

I must be in the minority, as I love Luvs. I used them with my DDs, now 7 and 9, and used them again with my now 1 year old (b'day last week). I have had no problems and no leaks. My sister said that she would use them too, but MIL buys all of her diapers and she only buys Pampers. Someone gave me some Huggies when DS1 was born, and they were horrible. He leaked out of every one of them. I finally just threw them away.
As for wipes, I used to use Huggies, with DD7, but they would dry out, even when sealed in an air tight ziploc. Weird! I now use Pampers Sensitive. DS1 gets bad diaper rash and his little tush dries out. Other than a wet washcloth, this is the only thing I can use that doesn't irritate him. They are a little thin, but work very well.

I agree on the wipes....Huggies are thick and moist. I felt like the Pampers would tear right apart because they were so thin. Weird how Huggies can get the wipes so right and the diapers so wrong :confused3

Cloth diapers are WAY cheaper than those prices, in the long run.
We have used cloth since the day my son was born, and I know we would have had some financial problems had we needed to buy disposables all that time (I stay at home by choice, so we are a one-income family). If anyone is interested in cloth, PM me! It isn't just prefolds and pins anymore. :thumbsup2

Wow all the questions I want to ask but am afraid to!
I am travelling to Orlando staying on south int drive with my two DD (4 & 1) next April. Virgin have clamped down on how many kilos for luggage etc so I really don't want to have to pack too many nappies (sorry diapers) and wipes.
I use pampers active fit (think that's your crusers) think she will be still size 4 approx 25pounds, how much can I expect to pay for these at the Publix store on south int drive (do they inflate prices in tourist areas?) and how much do you pay for wipes (these huggies shea butter ones sound fab!) I'll probably need about 85 diapers.
Over here active fit are about 40c per piece.
Any help would be great ladies.
Thanks.
:thanks: :thanks:

Tinkerbellmama I am soo glad you made this post. I wanted to mention cloth also but you beat me to it. I had 2 in diapers ( 1 just decided to train himself-18 days till we leave for disney) I used cloth exculsively for my 1st, 2nd part time and 4 and 5 for the last 9 months. The diapers are all the ones I purchased for my 1st one. No expense for me. Think about ladies there is such cool ones out there now, I think I need another baby just to be able to buy more.
