Hi all

Back from my first trip. I stayed at the Novotel is Noisy Le Grand. Hotel itself was lovely, but it was just a bit far from the park. About 6 or so stops on the rer, which took about half an hour, plus a ten minute walk which was a bit dodgy late at night!

I want a really cheap but decent trip at half term (hubby is a teacher, no kids!!) but don't want to be as exhausted from the travel!

Does anyone know any hotel or b&b on one of the nearer stops like Bussy st Georges or Val D'Europe that won't come to more than £200 for 5 or so nights, that aren't far to walk to the rer or public transport to avoid taxis? I hopefully have enough airmailed for the trip and an annual passport.

Thanks for any advice!

Try the adagio city in val d'europe we were £160 for4 nights from 14th oct last year for a 1 bed apartment, but they have studios too if you wanted even cheaper. Free shuttle 200 yards from the door.

Ibis budget is good and comes in at around £50 a night.

Literally a 1 minute walk to the RER station.

off the top of my head -

Hipark Serris,
Serris Rive Gauche,
Ibis Budget
Residhome
Adagio
maybe the L'Elysee

all in val d'europe

then in bussy st george -

B&B hotel,
Premier Classe,
Campanile

Would highly recommend Sejours & Affaires Rive Gauche - Serris. Try out all the usual travel sites to get the best deal, I find Travel Republic pretty good, would expect to pay £50 - £60/night for room only, we had breakfast too as it was too good a deal to pass up extra euro each and it was really good think Disney Sequoia Lodge standard. :)

Hi everyone :wave2:

Sorry to hijack but I was just wondering which accommodation in Val D'Europe you'd all recommend?

I've been to DLP 3 times (staying twice at the Magic Circus and once at the Explorers), other family members have also stayed at the Kyriad.

We've never done on-site and haven't ever ventured to Val D'Europe before!

We've been trying to get back to the magic for many months now but various things have made that impossible. However, it's now looking like a Halloween trip might be do-able :)

The room prices at Val D'Europe seem very good compared with the partner hotels. I'm guessing the combination of booking quite late and it being a popular time to visit have pushed the prices up for onsite and partner hotels!

I've also read good things about the Auchan supermarket at Val D'Europe!

We'd be a party of 3 adults (possible 4 adults) and would want 2 rooms (or an apartment with 2 bathrooms if there is such a place? Some of us hog the bathroom on a morning meaning it's far quicker to get the the parks if we have 2 available! :rotfl:)

One member of our group struggles with walking long distances so we'd be unable to walk to the parks. I've read that there's a bus to the parks and that it's also possible to take the RER, which I understand is just one stop to DLP?

So, if you were staying in Val D'Europe, which accommodation would be your first choice?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions :goodvibes

We've stayed in the Elysee a few times and it has always been great. Literally just across the road from the RER station and the big shopping mall. The bus stop is just outside the hotel as well, although we usually get the train as it's quicker.

We stayed at the Residhome Val D'Europe in a 1 bedroomed apartment earlier this month. The accommodation was nice and a 30 second walk from our room to the train station. I plan on staying there again.

Thanks for your suggestions missiemouse and Danauk :goodvibes

I'll definately have a look at those and see what we think :)
