Cheap crocs vs. high end crocs....

I ordered mine off of the Crocs site, and went by how they suggest they fit. They are suppost to be very loose. I wear a 9 and having tried them on in a store once I was worried that a 9/10 was going to be way too big. They are perfect. If I had gotten the 8/9 the shoes would be way snug. If you are an 8 I think the 8-9 would work well.:confused3 Good luck, and happy shopping.

Thanks! It can be so hard ordering shoes online, not being able to try them on first. I did try some on in the mall yesterday, they were knock offs, and it didn't even have number sizes. Just medium and large, and the large was a better fit for me. But didn't tell me much on what I should buy when it came to number sizing. I didn't want the knock offs anyway.

I have to add: You guys had me sold too, so I went shopping yesterday to try some on before ordering online. I tried two brands and three sizes... and my toes hit the top in a really ugly feeling way! My kids said the same thing, but hubby bought a pair! The kids must get their toes from me, huh? I did notice the mens seemed to have a slightly different shape at that toe turn up area than the womens and kids.

I am not on the list of Croc's fans. But Now my husband is. I'm going to hide all of his black socks.

I got my first pair of crocs at DL on the 3rd day of our trip after I was already blistering quite bad, they seemed to help alot, now that the blisters are going away they feel even better :cool1: and for sizing I usually wear a 9 so I bought the L disney crocs which say w 10-11 and they fit fine with a little extra room. The M (w 8-9) was too small and my heel was right at the very back. Price wise at the mall here the normal crocs were 35 and the disney crocs were 37. I'd have gotten plain crocs if they'd had any in my size in a color I'd liked :) I'm thinking of ordering a different style pair from their website

I don't have a problem with blisters. My problem is PAIN. . . by the second day my feet hurt like there is no tomorrow hurt. . . anyone have pain issues and love these things/???? I tried on the mickey ones one time at DL and they made my feet kind of tingly. . . like they were getting a mini massage.. . but before I finally make the dive and buy them I'm curious how they are for people with just pain issues/arthritis in their feet. THANKS!

My Dh has arthritis in both feet and wears custom orthotics in his day to day shoes - he wears crocs on vacation, though, and swears by them. They are they *only* shoes that his feet will tolerate for a lot of wear. The 12 years that we have been together, I have watched him try at least 20 different types of sandals with no success until he found Crocs - now he can have cool feet, too!

I am wearing Crocs for the first time today and I already had 3 people asking me where to buy them. I bought mine at JC Penneys and they are very comfortable. I usually am a size 7 but these are 8 (they also have an M)and they are perfect. Now I want to buy the Disney ones. Thanks for the Shoebuy tip. My tip is to buy the cheap ones when they are on sale and try them. If you like them buy another pair of the better brands. I got mine for $7.50 a couple of weeks ago at Penneys. They were 1/2 off on sale.

I have a black Disney pair and love them. I've done with and without socks depending on the weather. I have super sensitive feet (I blister easily and in most sandals the entire bottom of my feet become giant hot-spots) and they don't bother me a bit except for the first ten minutes after switching from my work shoes to the crocs. Despite the fact that they're big looking, they don't rub like other sandals do.

I bought the Payless version a year or so ago and LOVE them. Both my kids and myself have worn ours out. I find them just as comfortable as the real crocs honestly. The only reason I bought "real" crocs is I wanted the disney ones. I now have a pair of the red and black disney ones and would have preffered black and red as the red and black are REALLY bright but I still love them and will wear them this summer to the parks. I bought a pair of the athens (which are like the flip flops) and LOVE those.

I used to worry about what people think but frankly I am old and I know they aint looking at me anymore anyway LOL so I don't care.

I also wear them with socks all the time and the girls did get some blisters last year so they had to wear socks with them but they wear them both ways and like them.

I don't think you will be dissapointed.

I was thinking wrong, they dont come in a 9/10 (it was wishful thinking) But I did get the W10/11. (I wear a 9) But I was wearing the around the house this morning, and I still like them (2nd time wearing):)

My mom got the Rx Crocs, she has trouble with her feet (arch, achilles tendon issues, and toe issues) and has loved hers so far.

My Crocs are my favorite pair of shoes! I bought the Payless Airwalks for my boys because they are much cheaper. I bought them last June and they have yet to stink and have yet to wear out. For the longest time, they were the only shoes my 2 year old would wear.

I have the Athens flip flops and love them! They are kind of wide and big, and sometimes I feel like my toes are gripping the shoe, but all in all, very comfy. I just ordered another pair from shoebuy in charcoal/cotton candy. I wanted the new women's styles, but am not sure if they will have enough cushion on the bottom. I did something really funky to my ankle a couple of months ago, and I could barely walk, even with an ace bandage and tightly laced tennies. I wore my Athens and had practically no pain! I wore those shoes to work for a week (they are light blue/pearl! didn't match!) and truly think that they were the key to my recovery. LOL

Now, if you have high arches, crocs will not be for you. I got my MIL a pair of Athens, and they give her backaches if she does a lot of walking in them, because she has very high arches. My feet, on the other hand, are pretty flat, so crocs work very well for me.

I also have a pair of primas, but they are not so comfy. I'm wearing them for the first time today, and my toes are super squished. I'm going to have to try stretching them tonight.

My shoe size is normally 7.5 dress shoe, 8 tennis shoe. I ordered the W 7 in Athens, and 7 in Primas. I tried on Disney crocs in a small and medium. My toes hit the front of the smalls, but the mediums were uncomfortably big. Were I to get disney crocs, I'd get the smalls and stretch the back strap or wear that strap in front...hth!

Crocs are the only brand that are made with their material that is antibmicrobial ( which means no stinky feet and stinky shoes). The ones that aren't crocs don't have that. I would go for the Crocs brand.

Actually, the Lands End ones also advertise that they are antimicrobial. I'm still curious about them, though I did end up ordering a pair of Mary Jane Crocs through Shoebuy that were only about $22, including shipping (%15 coupon code, 10% new registration discount, ebates discount). I really like the way those look.

Just came back from wearing my yellow Mickey crocs at DL for 5 ten-hour days (minimum) and my feet felt great! I thought I might have trouble but they were so comfy!

I would only go with Crocs brand (especially since they come from Colorado company) and they shouldn't be anymore than $35 as Crocs sets pricing, although I do think they were higher at World of Disney in DTD.

I got mine on Ebay for $15...and remember, if you have small feet, you can wear a child's size...I bought a child's 3 (because they are cheaper) and it's the same as a woman's 5.

Don't forget Jibbitz to decorate them!

Okay so you guys have got me sold on these. I have wide feet and have trouble with shoes, so I'm thinking these might be perfect for me. Especially at Disneyland, I'm usually the only one with blisters galore!

So now what about sizing? I was reading somewhere, someone said you have to buy them in a size bigger then what you are? I was looking at some on Amazon, they are the good croc brand. They were a size 8-9. I'm a size 8, should that work okay? I want to order them online, but don't want to get them too small (or too big for that matter!)

If you go to the Crocs website, they have a chart that you can print out to measure your feet. (Pick the shoe you want and then click on "sizing chart.pdf")

I just placed an order for a pair of women's disney crocs, the black with red trim, and with the new person code and additional code: ACCESS and free shipping I only paid $27!

I sent my friend a link because if you refer someone they get a code for $10 off. I told my mom and she asked to be referred and I may refer my daughter so if she doesn't use it, I'll use her $10 off for my next pair!

I just ordered and it went so well, pm me if you want details on how easy it is to order. I mean, you sort of have to have Disney crocs if you go to DL! :thumbsup2

I got crocs after getting my husband a pair- he is in mid fifites and only wants to wear conservative dress shoes - well the crocs were a huge hit and he LOVES them - he would wear them to work if he could.

On the OTHER HAND - I recommend that anyone go ahead and get a pair, but try them around a mall or something before Disneyland- I think they are cute, and light and I like the slip on aspect of them and I use them for yard work BUT if I wear them more than a couple of hours my feet are killing me - also I have very high arches and long toes and I agree that they hit on TOP of the shoe if I am barefoot and it feels bad.

SO BE CAREFUL wearing them for a long time without testing first.

I have the Trellos (the bright blue ones, LOL) and I LOVE them. They're very comfortable and cute! I have wide feet, so getting shoes to fit is tricky. I would normally wear a 7W and I believe mine are size 7. HTH!

Thanks so much, ButterflyJen! I may have to try them. Lands End is so good about returns that if they don't work out, it's not a big deal.

BTW, Shoebuy, which has some great coupon codes available (just google shoebuy coupon codes) also has free shipping and free returns, so you can try your Crocs out and send them back if they don't work for you. I think I"m going to make DH get a pair. Maybe Father's Day....hmmmm....
