How big is the difference?
I have seen them in local stores for about $15 and on line for about $60.

Is there a big difference?
What do you like about these things? Did you think they were ugly at first? I confess: I think they are ugly. They remind me of Fred Flintstone for some reason! But, I already wear a fanny pack at DL, so Flintstone feet is no big deal IF they are super comfy. :upsidedow

Tell all.... I need to hear your sales pitch.

I've ordered them over the last month for me and both children. I ordered them from shoebuy.com You can use ACCESS for $5 off a $25 order. You can use it more then once, so you can order each pair seperate. They offer no tax and free shipping. I ordered some of them with a better code ($10 off) but its expired. You can get various discount codes http://www.naughtycodes.com/search-results4.php?store=143

I thought they were ugly as well. But, now that I have them I don't really care. I'm not a slave to fashion and dang they are comfortable! They are my kids first choice of shoes everyday. I was worried about my feet sweating, but they dont- at all. I do wear them with socks as I dont like the way my feet feel in shoes with out.

I just got my Disney crocs the other day. They were super comfy. Like wearing slippers (walked around the mall and the house for most of the day and not a lot of issues, my feet felt 'worked out' like when I start wearing my birkis in the summer). I have a pair of cheapos that I wear in the yard, and I would never consider wearing them anywhere I would have to walk for long distances. So, yes, I think there is a difference. I also have an issue with the look. Im trying to invision myself with them on in the park.

$60? Where are you shopping? LOL! Even at Nordstrom, they're $35...

I vouch for these brands: Crocs, Waldies, Holey Soles... I don't vouch for the others, though my mother swears that her Airwalks are every bit as comfy as her crocs - and, she has both and wears nothing but...

So - it's up to you! LOL

Oh, and I have no issue with the styling - the colors are so crazy and fun and I'm all about color. I wear lime green and orange.

I love my crocs..while they aren't the BEST looking..I do love the mickey ones and I wore them everyday at the park!! they are great!! the off brands are NOT the same...the are hard and not comfy...I would def. get some crocs!!!;)

I posted a similar thread elsewhere yesterday, with the same question, re the Lands' End version, called Trellos. I love Lands' End, and their stuff is usually very good quality, and they are only $23, but I am hesitant to try them.

Crocs are the only brand that are made with their material that is antibmicrobial ( which means no stinky feet and stinky shoes). The ones that aren't crocs don't have that. I would go for the Crocs brand.

The first croc type shoes I owned were Sketchers brand crocs. They were cheap on sale, so I bought them to try them out. I loved them and wore them out (sole is slick). I wore them to DL last time and they were wonderful. Now I have my Mickey crocs and am working on wearing them out.

I think the ones at Payless or Walmart are icky and not as comfy, but if you buy a nicer off brand, you are probably ok.

I love my Crocs! I've worn them to DL on at least 3 trips, and I wear them at work every day (I work 3 days a week). They ARE ugly, but, comfort-wise, they can't be beat. I tried Danskos too, but, they don't come close. Too heavy. The Crocs are feather light.

I ended up getting a pair of Crocs off Shoebuy as well. I think it totaled less than $20. I think the name brand ones are the way to go!!

Obviously, you have never put this little slice of heaven on your feet. . . :goodvibes

I honestly don't care who thinks my shoes are ugly. In DLR my goal is to make it through the day without sore feet, and my pretty pink and white (YES, the ARE pretty!) Mickey Crocs fit the bill! :thumbsup2

Here are my croc questions:

Can you wear them with socks?

Does anyone know much about their flip flops? I think they are a little more attractive.

I wear mine with socks every day. I just got a pair of the "Mary Jane" style because I think they look a little more girlish. People always stare at me because they are bright pink, but boy are my feet comfy!

I just bought the flip flops. They are like walking on pillows(not that I have ever walked with pillows strapped to my feet). They are a little wider looking than your average flip flop, but they do look pretty good. My DH wondered if they were too big for me, but they are supposed to be a little big.

I love my crocs and wouldn't wear anything else to DLR! I wore both my regular crocs and my Mickey crocs to DLR on my last trip two weeks ago . My feet were so happy and comfy the whole time. I thought that my regular crocs were softer and more comfier (sorry for the bad grammar) than my Mickey crocs but they were both great. I wouldn't buy the off brands because they are not as soft and comfy as the real thing.

I love my flip flop and maryjane crocs. I wore socks with my maryjanes during the winter only. Otherwise I wouldn't wear them with socks. They are the best shoes I have bought. I occasionally will wear the maryjanes to work.

My first pair were from JCPenny...St John's Bay brand, I think. And they are super comfy. I broke my toe last summer and had to walk in a LONG parade...couldn't get a real shoe on, so decided to wear those and I couldn't believe how ok my feet felt afterwards. Been a convert ever since. Dd wears all brands of knock offs, but the real ones aren't that much more and are worth it, imo.

Okay so you guys have got me sold on these. I have wide feet and have trouble with shoes, so I'm thinking these might be perfect for me. Especially at Disneyland, I'm usually the only one with blisters galore!

So now what about sizing? I was reading somewhere, someone said you have to buy them in a size bigger then what you are? I was looking at some on Amazon, they are the good croc brand. They were a size 8-9. I'm a size 8, should that work okay? I want to order them online, but don't want to get them too small (or too big for that matter!)

I ordered mine off of the Crocs site, and went by how they suggest they fit. They are suppost to be very loose. I wear a 9 and having tried them on in a store once I was worried that a 9/10 was going to be way too big. They are perfect. If I had gotten the 8/9 the shoes would be way snug. If you are an 8 I think the 8-9 would work well.:confused3 Good luck, and happy shopping.
