Cheap, comfortable shoes

I agree with the Teva girl. I wore my Teva flip flops every day of my last trip and I was so much more comfortable than the trip before when I wore my tennies because everyone kept telling me how much my feet would hurt if I wore flip flops. Tevas are super squishy and light as a feather. I just hope that it is warm enough to wear them in December this year!

you know i've heard a lot of complaints about flip-flops, but when i went in August i think it was actually a better idea. i had slip on shoes that i brought that were canvas material and they rubbed my feet so bad i had sores all over them. but when i wore the sandals i was fine. if you're going when it's cooler i suggest bringing sneakers that you wear often. they're already broken in and you're comfortable with them. if you're going to buy a special pair of shoes for the trip, make sure you wear them for a few weeks before the trip to break them in or else your feet will kill you.

Never go cheap on quality footwear; especially if you have any foot issues.

I had the same heel problems, but they vanished when I switched to Brooks running shoes. No I don't run, I'm just a big gal who needs the foot support. And I've found quality footwear actually lasts longer.

I shop at a specialty running store (Run On) where the staff is trained to fit people to the proper shoe; not just kids working at Foot Locker for minimum wage where they're pushing the manager's special that week. I highly recommend going to a place like Run On or an orthopedic type of store instead of just trying on shoes at WalMart or taking a chance on a pair of shoes through Zappos cause they worked for someone else. It didn't cost me any more either. Same shoe was only a few dollars cheaper through Zappos.

If money is an issue, start saving now. A hundred dollar shoe is worth a million if it means comfort at WDW.
