Cheap Airfare for Nov 5th thru 12th?

HI! Everyone! I was wondering if any of you have gone or plan to goto Walt Disney World in November and have gotten cheap airfare? I can right now get a fare of $79.00 each way! But I know southwest is having a sale now but you have to travel by august I believe! I was wondering if anyone knows how often they do this and if my chances are good waiting ! Don't get me wrong $800 is cheap for 5 airfares but if I can cut that in half that would be awesome! I looking to spend least possible overall! If it don't happen it don't happen! But I figured I would ask what my chances maybe good , bad or Not happening?

I just booked AA out of LGA 11/2 - 11/7...It was $727 for 5...I grabbed it thinking rates would be going up bacause of gas prices going up

Man...this hardly seems fair...(whine, whine)....we live 1/2 of your distance to WDW and if I could get a $160RT fare for your Nov dates I would nab it in a minute!!....I have been looking for the first week of Nov for over a month now and the cheapest so far is over $240 from Louisville....yuck.

Whining aside I have noticed that SW runs at least 1 internet special per fare cycle from here to MCO (usually $59 each way)....so I am trying to be patient and wait until they open up their booking window into Nov. Usually Delta and others match SW fares but with very limited seating.

So if you see what SW usually runs their internet specials from your home airport for and it is substantially cheaper than what you can get now I would say it might pay you to wait. Fares can always go up for fuel costs, demand, etc, so it is always a gamble

I am holding out for SW to open up into Nov unless someone else wants to sell me seats under $150RT and then I have to watch religiously for those Tues AM emails or the Dings.

Yeah! I think I'm going to wait to! I also have ding downloaded I don't know if it's working but I keep checking soutwest website just in case! Well right now they are booking thru Sept 12th Reg $79.00 fares and their specials are booking til the end of august so I am assuming sometime in May will have the November Fares! So hopefully we'll get a good deal! I'll keep you posted if I see something! Are the dings always on Tues mornings?

We have $59 fare each way from Laguardia leaving 11/5 and returning 11/10 on Song!

Goofy22...the Dings come once or twice a day...if you have downloaded the program to your computer you can just click on the little icon in the lower tool bar anytime you get on and see what the last set of Dings were for, Tuesday AMs they always send an email with the weekly internet specials on it....they can be booked anytime before Friday of that week I think.

We flew from Providence to Orlando this past November 7-14 and were able to get $49 each way on Southwest. We bought the tickets in July.

Hey Goofy22, Guess you talking about Spirit airlines? Grab it or wait for SW out of philly ...Thats what I am doing. I am on every day and planning on going back in dec. Orginally the flight was 75 bucks two weeks ago.. Now that gas prices are going up again the same flight is up to 85 bucks out of AC. So I figured I will sit back and wait to see what SW will do for Dec. Only problem is Dont know when Sw will start booking for Dec.

Actually that was Airtran out of Phila! Spirit out of AC is ridiculous! It's like $1892.00 as oppose to $884.50 for 5 people! I'm waiting on SW out of PA hopefully they will have some enticing fares since they want people to fly! That's what I'm hoping! If not I think I'd rather drive and have more money to spend at disney with a 11yr old and a 6 yr old! I'm sure I'll be able to use it!

Sw Dec booking should be around the end of June I'll let you know if I figured it out right if I did I should be able to book thru them for my Nov vacation shall I choose to fly by May 21st! Right now they are booking thru Sept 12th! If you goto www.southwest.com and download ding it will llet you know all the speccials etc.. you just have to check to see if they are valid thru you're dates!
