Let me be perfectly honest when I say if I had that swing my DH would litereally do NOTHING. Today he had a tiny sore throat so he goes out on the hammock to sleep. Its over 100 degrees. Maybe he was trying to fry the throat fungus out. :scared:

I feel as if you are sent down from Heaven just for this purpose. Oh and to bear multiples. :lmao:
;) I know.
I am not so sure about the color...
I prefer pink

:lmao: Thats funny. When Frelan gets sick, he goes into a coma for DAYS. Even just a little cold. I dont know if I mentioned that he had gotten bronchitis as well.... He took 3 day off work so he could stay home and play video games.

yea, I am thinking on showing my neighbors this place...SINCE THEY WERE SERVED AN EVICTION NOTICE...

Can you change the color to match the season?

Green for summer, red and browns for fall, white in winter (oh wait.. make that dirty white grey with a few splashes of yellow)

ooooooooo how about camo colored for hunting season. :thumbsup2

Ok I've been on the fence about this for a long time. On one hand I feel like I'm a really bad mom for doing this and on the other I feel I am teacher Morgan proper hygiene just a tad earlier than I expected.

See she has this line on her nose that has always been a little pink. Its right on the crease. Last spring some boys teased her about the "line" on her nose. Its hardly noticeable but I guess sometimes it sticks out. Well turns out this summer blackheads started forming on it and a couple little whitehead pimples. :scared1:

Keep in mind she'll be 8 next weekend!!! :scared1:

So, we tried using just her body wash to make sure we were washing her face better. Then we started using Dove Soap. I remember my dermatologist telling me plain white dove soap was really good for skin (this was as a teenager).

Its not helping. Obviously, now the line is caused by excess oil there and dirt is getting into her pores. When the blackheads came they were HUGE. I've never had them that large!:scared1:

Anyway, today I bought her some Neutrogena Extra Gentle facial Cleanser and some Neutrogena Clear Pore oil Eliminating Astrigent to use with a Q-tip just on her nose. Then I picked up these prepackaged foaming pads from Neutrogena that say they are Blackhead eliminating. I thought we could "try" them out on the nose area in the shower once a week since they have exfoiliating beads in them. I dont t hink its harsh though.

Am I really bad? I dont try to make her paranoid about this but she did get teased and she asks why she has what teenagers have.

My fear is that sometimes these products when you start using them make y our breakouts worse before they are better Or they might be altogether too harsh for her young skin.

Be honest. I can take them back or use them myself. I just dont have a clue what to do here.

I'll read your replies when I get back Need to grab the kids from school. I'll be home before Morgan has Company Auditions tonight

Go Morgan! :cheer2:

Be back in a minute.

i had to buy that stuff early for my middle son...we ended up taking him to doctor to get something....

if you think it is a problem then who cares what anyone else thinks...she is your kid...

and for the record..I think its fine...

My OB was telling me that her daughter has acne at the age of 8, and they use Neutrogena on her. I had some embarrassing body issues at an early age, so I am all about taking care of it now. Heck... I have been waxing the ole unibrow since I was 12. ;)

I use a scrub, and it is harsh on my skin... But I like it rough. ;) With the little beads, it will hardly be noticeable.

I think you are doing a good job. My mom made me suffer with hairy HAIRY legs until I was 12. :headache: Mikalah is blond, so probably wont have the dark hair problem I did... But if she did, I would shave the puppies for her.

Shawna- I don't think there is any harm in you buying Neutrogena for your DD. It just shows that you are a good mom who cares about her DD's well-being and let's face it, it sucks to be teased, especially in school. :guilty:

I hope the Neutrogena face wash helps rid the blackheads. I use Bijore once in a while to clear those from my nose but sometimes they hurt like hades!

I used to use Neutrogena face washes but it caused dry skin. If I get a pimple I use their On-the-spot cream. Now I use Elemis sensitive face wash and they have an S.O.S. Emergency cream for pimples. It really helps and doesn't dry out my skin.

My boys too needed at an earlier age than expected.

Puberty happens a lot earlier than when we were that age. It just shows everyone that she is growing up. awwwwwwwwwww, sniffle sniffle.. I miss those non teenage years.

I would try just one product at time, see how her skin reacts before launching into a series of products. I guess it depends on how sensitive her skin is - if she's the type to break out rashy with new soaps/detergents then less is better.

I also tell my boys to not touch their face, keep hair off face. That was the advice given by a derm to a friend of mine in college -- long long ago... She had terrible acne, the kind that makes pits and just looks like it HURTS. She said once she changed her hair style and stopped messing with her face.. it got better.

We just had a company meeting for those attending the DL company trip. I created an e-mail detailing the hotel location, check-in/check-out times, parking fees, park hours, parade times, etc. I hope it's helpful because most have not been to the park in more than 10 years

We were able to get a reservation for Goofy's Kitchen our first night. :yay:

Yes, I agree. It's really a hit-or-miss with these products and each person is different. It took me a long time before I found a good product for my skin. :) I think Johnson & Johnson's Clean and Clear did not work for me.
