Sit and play on the DIS all day... oh wait that's what I do :rolleyes1

;)

Actually, I'm rarely on these days.. just very short snippets.

I plan to: Work out. Scrapbook. Read. Gosh, maybe even take a class! OH what the heck, maybe I'll even do some housework... :rotfl2:
I probably will just sit in the tub and lay there in silence :cloud9: I will do some of the same Scrapbook i need to do , and sewing ....

another short snippet of a DIS day.. yet again .. off to bed :cloud9:

I really need to scrapbook again. I love it and it's so calming and fun for me. I just haven't had the chance. I have tons of photos I haven't even had printed since last year.

Me, too. There's a workshop coming up the first weekend in September, so I'm going to try to go. I am STILL working on the album from our first DL trip in Sept. 2006! :rotfl2:

That sounds like fun :) I've always wanted to join those little scrapbook gatherings in stores but I feel a little intimidated. They come in with those fancy scrapbook organizers on wheels where everything is in it's own separate compartment and I would probably just bring in one big plastic container that is not organized :lmao:

THese workshops seem to be the only uninterrupted time I get these days. I notice the less organized I am going into the workshop, the more crap I bring.

I go to an all-day workshop, and to maximize my time, I try to do the following beforehand:

1. Lay out the photos on a page, figuring out how many photos to fit on each page and how to arrange them.

2. Choose background paper/colors to use on the page.

3. If I have time, figure out what other embellishments to add.

4. Crop the photos so they're ready to stick.

This really helps to move me along at the workshop, I usually get a lot of pages done there.

I like shopping for different types of paper and stickers. Jolee's are really cute but a little expensive. :scared: It's cool when they are on sale at Michael's though :)

I have this plastic 12x12 box with a hinged lid that I use to put my in-progress stuff so it's all together. I lay the pages down in the box with each page's photos and paper and embellishments on top of each page, then take them out one at a time to work on them. (This process uses more pages to lay out than you actually use, since you will stick things to both sides of the page.) :thumbsup2
