I don't care for cake, but I will eat it. I may even like it.
No frosting please.
I scrape the frosting off. We went to one of those fancy expensive cupcake places, and there was so much frosting my kids couldn't even eat them.

I heard couples are supposed to freeze part of their wedding cake and eat it on their 1 year anniversary? I don't want to do that! That is so gross!![]()
Well ladies...I'm tired and going to bed. Had a fun time chatting tonight...let's do it again sometime soon. Happy Dreams to All!![]()
Did it
It sucked
But it was funny at the time trying to eat freeze dried saw dust consitency cake and not puke .
Good fun one year anniversary entertainment when you are poor and have a baby.![]()
I'm so sad...my kitty Pearl is gone.
Friday night while we were out my DBF's grandma went in our room and opened our window and the cat must have jumped out because now she's gone and I can't stop crying.
I asked the neighbors and walked all around looking for her all weekend but we live in a rural area and I know she's not coming back.
Then to make matters worse we were gone for a few hours last night and came home to find the front door wide open and grandma in her room with the door shut.I almost died thinking that our other cat Diamond was gone but thankfully she was still in the house. I asked his grandma this morning why the door was open and she said she didn't open it.

It's been getting harder and harder living with her. I really think she need more professional help then what DBF and I can do anymore. She's constantly falling down the poarch steps or falling in her room. She doesn't remember things at all (like leaving our window open or the door).
We are thinking of giving Diamond to my mom but with losing our other one just a few days ago I can't really give her up, but I would rather her be safe and still get to see her then have her get out too. I don't know what to do right now.
Sarah, I'm so sorry to hear that your cat ran away!![]()
I hope she returns to you.
I agree with you, it sounds like your grandma would be better off living in a home with assisted living. Then they could supervise and help her 24/7. I'm glad that no one broke into your house and stole things or worse, hurt your grandmother. I don't blame you for not wanting to have your other kitty live with your mother at the moment.
to you!
Sarah I'm so sorry Pearl is lost and all the worries about Diamond and the Grandmother too. Maybe it's time to have a family conference, voice your concerns about her safety (and your own safety with doors being left open). It's so hard making those kind of decisions, to know when it is too much for family to be the caregiver. The family that is not in the day to day life might not understand why the sudden change, creating ill feelings and all .. but you and your BF have the best knowledge of her abilities.
Don't give hope on your cat she could turn up. My mom's cat got out and was gone for over a month and then one day she just showed up on the porch and we were able to get her inside. They don't have too many wild animals but there are coyotes in their area. Hope she comes home!
