It's so odd, I was reading on DIS last night.. haven't been here for months. Even looked at this thread and contemplated resurrecting it. And now, here we are again..

Not picky, CHEAP is the key word here. I need to save up the $ to go as we likely won't have taxes back in time. Easy enough, just eliminate going out to eat and cut back my massage. I have a few "deal site" massages to use up anyway before they expire in December.

Tomorrow I will call Best Western and see which of the hotels they are offering the employee rate at this time. Cheap sounds good to me also. I'm going to check with my boss on airmiles. I told Alex I would see if I could get both her & I free airline tickets. If he has enough I'll see if I can get you one too. Not sure how many miles he has, but it's worth a try.

Well I need to get the dishes done, a couple loads of laundry, take and bath and go to bed. We're heading to my in-laws this weekend & I've got a million things to do tonight. The boys are going fishing in Grandpa's boat out in the bay and us girls are probably going to a movie and shopping...cuz Chels & I get seasick!lol.

OMGosh! You are so kind! Plane tickets from MSP to SNA usually run around $300 We just don't have much competition to lower the prices since Delta is the hub here. (And frankly, how many people really want to visit a place that is cold for 9 months of the year?)

Stephanie posts occasionally- the kids are just too cute! , Shawna is not on my list. I have Megan, Alison, Rochelle, Kelly and even Lynn (I see posts from Andrea on Lynn's page) and Christina (she hasn't posted in a long time).

Facebook is a way for me to keep tabs on my family and high school class mates. One of the easiest tools to find deals and coupons/promos too.

B that is awesome that you are getting to go to Disney! When you going?

I haven't really been on the dis much either. I was posting on the diva thread but then I had to cancel my trip so I just stopped posting cuz it was bumming me out too much

We also had planned a family trip for Vet's day weekend but for those of you who aren't on FB with me my dh and I have split so I had to cancel that as well.

I DID just get a job though so I am pretty excited and nervous about that. I start on the 28th and I am pretty nervous because I have not worked for anyone but my mom in over 10 years. In fact I haven't worked in almost 13 years. EEK! I DO work part time for my mom but I don't really count that because I can work when I want and I don't have a ton of duties. So I hope it all goes well. My biggest thing is I haven't been away from the girls since they were born so this is going to be a HUGE transition.

The good thing is it is a temp job so if things are too overwhelming I can take a breather when it ends and regroup. It goes till June by the way.

At this point my next "vacation" is possibly going to be in Feb. Same week as the diva trip. My mom REALLY wants to take a cruise and since she is paying for it we are going to do whatever she wants pretty much LOL. We were looking at ones out of LA but she found a few carribean ones and some that leave out of galveston that are pretty reasonable so right now it is all up in the air.

Unfortunately I have NO plans to go back to Disney till Jan of 13 I haven't gone that long between trips in FOREVER. We were there this past June but that means it will be almost 2 years before I go again. But can't be helped. No money right now and now that I will be working I can't get the time off.

Anywho it is great seeing you all posting again and I will def be stopping by when I can.
