We used to watch that sometimes. I think I stopped when that awful woman from Louisiana was on. OMG, she was scary! :scared1:

Shawna!!!
Glad you had a great time! We missed you!!!

Awww thanks! I did NOTHING. absolutely nothing. I mean I would literally point to the cooler when the kids wanted cereal. :lmao: It was so nice. I spent about 5 hours Monday in my hammock alone reading. I loved it! I feel so relaxed except I look at the huge pile of camping gear that needs to be put away and the clothes that need to be washed and I'm a little sad. :lmao:

ok, I changed my mind ...do I want to watch FRIED GREEN TOM.'S OR...STEEL MAGNOLIAS....???:confused3

Hi girls! I'm not sticking around to chat but I felt rude spying on you all without saying hello. Shawna, I'm glad you had an awesome time. Relaxing in a hammock is just what I want right now.

i DON'T know why but when we camp for some stupid reason I love the smell of bacon cooking.....

Oh I do too. My brother snagged our griddle attachment so we couldnt do bacon. I guess i could have done it in the pan I cooked eggs in (ok so I did that) but I was too lazy to drain the bacon out.

Last night I had the most awesome fire going! :cool1: I also made gourmet smores for everyone in the camp site next to us too. They were the nicest family. My gourmet smores consit of melting the chocolate onto the graham cracker over the fire before adding the roasted marshmallow. :lmao: Lets just say it isnt clean. Everyone had chocolate dripping onto their clothes and faces. It was funny but very delicious.

HI CHRISTINA

hi christina....omg...and one morning last year I got up did the bacon thing...I had some pot. and an onion going....i was so hungry smelling it I was ready to stick my face in the dish

Shawna, that's the way my dad always made the bacon. And he used the bacon fat to "blind" the eggs. So first time I ever went out for breakfast as an adult, they asked how I wanted my eggs. I said, "Blinded", and they had no idea what I meant. I didn't either, so had no other term to use and couldn't explain how to make it! :lmao:

Fortunately they had an old guy in the kitchen who knew exactly what it meant. :thumbsup2

(And for the record, the correct term is "basted".) :rotfl:

my pizza SUCKS....i am ticked....I ordered the ranch veggie, and it is covered with meat....I hate the sausage they use.....IDIOTS....great...now what will i eat....

:lmao: that is too funny. I was confused at first too.

Ok we just ran up to the school to see the teacher lists. Holy COW!

Jake's class has 17 boys and 9 girls. that poor teacher. Having a son, I'm really excited about this so hopefully he can make a good group of friends but WOW. And the kicker is that all 4 kindergarten classes have the same ratio 17 boys to 8 or 9 girls. Something must have been in the water in the 2002-2003 school year to produce such a high nuimber of males in this area.

one of my girlfriends and I were out last week and we had to run into walmart..(i hate that place)...we went in and I had my godson who is 3 with me while his mother was getting what she had to grab....

he starts preschool 2 mornings a week this year....he saw a sponge bob back-pack and went crazy...I just had to get it for him...it was so cute

So... On our errands today, we drove past our old neighborhood, where we lived for about 10 years, and the house to which we brought both boys home from the hospital. We saw the new construction on a big lot that had just been sold before we moved away. A cul-de-sac had been created, two houses are still being built, but the rest are already occupied.

We drove past our old house, whose big backyard we miss terribly, along with the giant swingset/fort/slide/climber we had to leave behind, too. As I drove past our next-door-neighbor's house I tried to remember his name. They moved away a few months after we did. "Honey, do you remember? What was his name? Brett... Brett something..." and DS7 perked up: "Mama, are you talking about Brett Favre?!" :hyper:

"Noooo, sweetheart. We have never lived near Brett Favre..." :headache: :confused3

DS says, "Oh." and is bored with the conversation... :rotfl:

:headache: My head hurts.. my throat hurts.. and I am feeling especially whiny this evening.

Shawna! It sounds like you guys had fun! Im so glad for you, its probably just what you needed!
