I know a lot of kids don't want to flush it away. And one of my GF's son pooped in the tub as a toddler, and FLIPPED OUT because he thought his stuffing was coming out! :scared1:

Poor baby was crying and trying to scoop it all up as she was grabbing him out. :lmao:
:lmao: :lmao:

huh. not even to pee?
Oh no, he pees in the toilet. Sometimes he needs to be reminded, sometimes he does it on his own, sometimes he's very resistent and I have to take him into the bathroom and pull down his pants. (I make sure he's gone potty and has a clean pull-up before going to sleep, for instance.)

But the poop thing he absolutely refused to do until last weekend. THEN when he did it without any prompting I thought, "Hey! This is going to go well after all!" :thumbsup2

Now I don't know what to think. Other than that I don't want him giving the cat any ideas! :headache:

:lmao: :lmao: It took a long time for Alex to poop in the potty. A LONG time. But he finally got it. Really. It was like 4 months after he was peeing in the potty..

Funny you said that.. I was thinking.. are you sure it was his poop and not the cat?

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I would consider asking his doc for ideas.. maybe the potty training in a day/weekend approach? It's intensive one on one, it worked for my sis dealing with her DS (with autism), he refused to use the toilet for poo also until she cornered him in one small area for the weekend. Sending him to potty at frequent intervals--

B&B training for nursing home patients involves toileting the person every 2 hours all day long, it "retrains" the bladder for those who are incontinent.

:confused3

Aww...that's cool! Poor Alex :(

Its no big. Its harder for the older kids to move up then the younger kids. He is having trouble swimming with his face in the water... So now he knows what he needs to work on, and was just kicking tail on in class today. :lmao:

My cousin made a video of Emilee opening her b-day presents and she put it on you tube. She seemed to like my present but man did my cousin go present crazy on her. :rotfl: I was laughing because my cousin has 2 dogs and she gave Emilee 2 gifts and said it was from the dogs. :lmao: Then she gave her a ton of other presents.

PIXIE!

cute pic! Hello Kitty is so darn cute, darn our estrogen deficient household!

:lmao: I love Hello Kitty but I will not decorate my entire house with it like that crazy woman I saw in Sanrio. :lmao: She had a photo album and whipped it out and showed the store manager pics of her Hello Kitty collection. She Hello Kitty-tized her entire house!

I don't know what it was, but when DH was gone on the business trip I was much better focused about reminding him to go. He was doing really well, going on his own (except for poop, of course.) Then shortly after DH returned, he pooped in the toilet, as if to show Daddy he was a big boy, and since then we've gone downhill again. I guess I just need to focus on that again. :confused3

My mom did that at Christmas , we all got gifts from her dog Lucy.

sniffle sniffle.. I think my mom would love to have another dog or cat, Lucy had a brain tumor and they had to put her to sleep.. this was a few years ago now, but my mom still talks about her.

Yeah, when DS7 was in preschool classes, he was nearly out of the 2nd one when he aged into the school-age classes. They placed him right back in the beginner class, because the classes don't correspond one-to-one. The skills required for the older kids to get into the 2nd class are I think similar to the 3rd class for the preschoolers.

My mom always did that, too, and also wrapped up special pet treats and gave them to the pets Christmas morning. EVERYBODY had Christmas presents! :rotfl:
