Good night, pix. :cloud9:

Yeah, that would be cool, Staley! I used to live just a few blocks from the airport, and we saw plane lights coming and going all evening long out our living room window. We loved it!

I dont even notice anymore, but I have lived within spitting distance of a runway of some sort my whole life.. We like it when the fighters graze the tops of the trees out back. That will shake the dishes out of the cupboard!:lmao: :lmao:

Alex asked up what the F stood for in the names.. I said.. It means really FREAKING FAST!:lmao: :lmao:

Good night, Shawna. :cloud9:

I'd better get going, too. Tomorrow morning I sign the kids up for August swim classes. I was assuming they'd both still be in the same level, and in August it would work out perfectly, 3 instances where they'd be in class at the same time! :thumbsup2

But DS7's teacher moved him up a level, so now they are not only NOT at the same time, but there is no weekday morning class for DS7. (I was going to try to sign them up for 2 weekday classes, or 1 weekday and 1 weekend class.) Now not quite sure what to do, but sign-up is at 7 AM TOMORROW! :rotfl:

Good morning, hyenas!
Filtered sun this morning; the clouds should burn off pretty soon! :yay:

Did I mention I was getting up early this morning to register the boys for swim classes? OMG, thank goodness for Starbucks... :surfweb:

DH and I talked last night; I said today was the sign up day for swim classes, at 7 AM. I said I wanted to make sure we could get in the classes this time, and try to get 2 classes per child. So if one of us was awake before 7, he or she could head down to the Y to do the registry; otherwise I'd set the alarm and get up at 7 and rush down there. He agreed.

Last night after I left the DIS I realized he would have no idea what to sign the kids up for, so I went through the paperwork and wrote out a bunch of notes. Try to get the classes at the same time; if they're not at the same time, get consecutive classes. Ask about weekday morning classes. Etc... And I also wrote up 1st Choice, 2nd Choice and 3rd Choice selections.

There, we'll be ready then either way! :thumbsup2

He woke a bit as I came to bed, so I told him the notes for the swim class registry were by the bathroom sink. He said, "OK."

Well... I heard him get up before the alarm went off. I thought, "Oh, good, he's up, I'm soooo tired!" He talked with DS4 a bit, told him to go downstairs and play with his brother. He got up and went to the bathroom and puttered around a bit. Then he crawled back into bed...

Then the alarm went off. He shut it off. Then he poked me in the shoulder. "Honey, it's 7." OK...

Then he poked me in the shoulder again. "Honey, the alarm went off." OK, go already...

Then he poked me again... Apparently the only part that he'd agreed to last night was that I'd go do the registry at 7. If I'd known that last night, I woudln't have stayed up late writing up all the damn notes!

So I eventually pried my eyelids open (OUCH!), threw some clothes on, washed my face, brushed my teeth, combed my hair and stomped out of the bedroom. I heard him ask, "Do you want me to go get coffee?" OMG, that made me even MORE angry! I snapped, "No!" and stomped downstairs, kissed the kids goodbye and went to do the registry.

I had to fill out 4 forms while there (so all kinds of people came, filled out their 1 sheet and turned it in way before my stack :guilty: ), but I'm still hoping we get what we want. I won't know until Wednesday. Crossing my fingers!

I stopped by Starbucks on my way home, got a mocha for me, drip coffee for DH, and a cinnamon roll for the boys to split. Ahhhhh, velvety java... :lovestruc

Good Morning Hyena's. I have been in a bit of a funk lately, so I have pretty much read to catch up (plus or minus a few pages :rolleyes1 but otherwise have stayed away)

I had might as well throw in the height and weights of my midget children...

DD7 - 44inches and 40 pounds on a good day
DD4 (almost 5 :faint) 42 inches and 39 pounds on a good day

Hello everyone!

Today was my birthday. I don't feel any older so I'm not really thinking about it. This morning I went to check out a local gym, it was super nice but quite out of my price range. It came with a ton of perks though so I'm going to think about it and make sure this is something I will actually commit myself to before I shell out the big bucks. And I mean big bucks, it was 64 pounds per month per person which is 124 dollars a month, that's not even including if dh gets a membership as well! So it's very expensive but it was a very nice facility and came with everything I could imagine.

Dh took me out to a nice restaurant for dinner, I had seabass and it was soo good, we shared a bottle of wine and dh doesn't drink wine as often as I do so it hit him farely quickly. He tried to pour me another glass of wine and spilled the wine all over my potatos :lmao:

We bought some champagne and strawberries for later tonight, and other than that that's it for my birthday. I'm starting to get sad as it nears the end of my day. I always expect more for my birthday but I don't know what. Maybe I want fireworks or maybe I'm just sad that I am actually a year older, I don't know but I'm trying to cheer myself up before dh realises I'm bummed and thinks that he did something wrong. All in all it was a very lovely day.

My dad called me and made mention how I'm not young anymore and that surprisingly hurt my feelings more than I would have thought. Maybe I'm just PMSing.

I hope you are all having a great Saturday though, you should all be up and about by now.

So last night when I went to bed we heard some kids out front talking.. No big deal, right? Well... the were messing around and being VERY LOUD. Having a party right outside the apartment. Teens, not little kids. It went ON AND ON. Louder, and LOUDER. Until it was 2am, and they were still at it. I debated for about 20 minutes.. Yell out the window for them to SHUT UP, or call the cops...

I called the cops. After about 5 or 10 minutes, I hear.. No sir, we were just leaving. A bunch of cars start up... blissful silence! :cool1: :cool1: Woohoo for Lakewood Police!!!! I peeked out the window and saw the cops standing there waiting for all the cars to leave. YAY!!!

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: It looks like we are going to the Air Show tomorrow!!!!:woohoo: :woohoo: McChord is having their first Air Expo in 3 years.. The Thunderbirds will be there!:woohoo: :woohoo: I LOVE me some airshow.. I must get that from me dad.. We went to Paris when was little.. My mom just BEGGED to go there. So we did. During the Paris Air Show. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: It is a HUGE air show.. One of the biggest in the world..

hello hyenas! My bf and I are currently in line to ride toy story mania. The sign said the wait time is 30 minutes but it's moving quickly. It's not scorching hot here at all. It's in the mid 70's and it's breezy. I hope u guys have a good day :smooth:

Hello Hyenas!!:flower3:

I'm back for our water skiing trip. Came back a day early, cuz the hotel was having a major "blow your brains out" ski boat boom box contest. The ski boats were all connected by wires to a DJ, so everyone of them would be playing the same music. These boat have thousands and thousands of dollars of speakers on them. It's unbelievable!!!

Anyways last night a couple of them had already showed up, blasting their music. The balcony we were on, was already shaking!!! Can you imagine what 30 of these would do???? Scary!!! And then you add babes and alcohol, and you have Trouble with a Capital T. Not too mention no sleep the whole night. Anyways we were warned and decided to ditch the party. It would have been fun to watch for awhile, but not for the whole night. Besides they said eveyone goes crazy........kind of like spring break!! I'm way too old to appreciate this kind of fun.:rolleyes1

I hope you all are good. I don't have time to catch up. Let me know any good gossip!!! :rotfl:

MELODY!!! I was just thinking about you!!! Sorry about the music.. That would drive me BATTY! Im glad you popped on!

Hey Megan,

How goes?

I saw a set of Stargate movies at Costco the other day, and thought of you. Have you seen them yet? I wonder if they are a good price if you are interested?

I'm going to bed now. I kind of tired after our drive home today. And then tomorrow I have to finish unpacking, and start repacking for a camping trip next weekend. I know, I know.................we are busy! :upsidedow

Goodnight!
