He just wants to concentrate on her swimming... nothing else. I think he has this vision of her going to the Olympics or something. Thats right... after 3 lessons he has it all planned out. :rotfl2:
:lmao:

And WOOHOO for Mikalah!!! That is amazing! :yay:

We still haven't been able to get DS4 to his lessons, since the eczema is so bad. He's scabbing over all his itchy spots now, though, so I'm hoping soon... I need to ask the doc when that could happen, and what to do when he finishes up the oral steroid... I wonder if I should take him back in so she can see what it all looks like and get a better idea on which bumps are eczema, which are allergic reaction, and which are possibly the staph. Though I'm guessing the steroid is supposed to kill all of it? :confused3

So who knows, maybe the scabs will all fall off and he'll look normal instead of reptilian again. (It really is kinda creepy to see/touch him these days, his skin feels gross!)

Hiya, Spongie. :)

Sorry to hear about the munchkin. Did he eat something he's allergic to, or something NO ONE should be eating? Poor little guy.

Megan, I forgot to tell you that is soooooooooooooo cool about Mikalah!:cool1:

Sounds like my GS. Just this past week, he decided to take off on his own under the water. It's amazing how fast they can go when they finally trust themselves. Anyways, he is a total fish already. Can't get him out of the pool now. :fish:

:lmao: :lmao: You guys are crazy!! i didnt even notice that!

So whats happening guys?? Anything exciting going on???

Pretty much the usual. DS4 didn't nap today, and is being a pain in the... neck. DS7 has gotten lippy again, so Daddy gave him a little talking to after dinner. Then DH took a walk and I told the kids to pick up their toys that are strewn all over the family room. So far several (but not all) toys have been picked up, and each child has been in the corner only once. At this rate the room might be cleaned up before dark... :sad2:

Bust out the big stick, mama!!!:lmao: My kids are asleep... No wonder after the day we had. Heck... I almost wish I was asleep!

Hello

Since I type so slow, I took the initative to give it to you all anyways. It's that good.

Avocado Corn Relish

2 cups of corn
1 jalapeno- veined and seeded.
2-3 avocados- slightly chopped
1/4 cup cilantro- chopped
1/2 cup red onion- chopped
1/4 cup lime juice-or to taste, (might be too much)
1 TBLS red wine vinegar
1 TBLS olive oil
1/4 tsp ground cumin
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper

Toss all together gently.

Serve with:

Corn or flour totillas- warmed
Grilled fish, chicken, or steak
chopped tomatoes
Shredded cheese- optional and not really needed
Fresh Salsa- optional too. But Dave likes more punch.

I picked up one of those broasted chickens today to use for this recipe. Works great!

Yum!!! That sounds tasty Melody!! I dont know where Alex went off too.. Probably shower time or some such thing. :thumbsup2

Sure! I like "good", "healthy" and "easy" in the same sentence! :thumbsup2 :rotfl:

Well, the room isn't going to be clean by bedtime, seeing as how it's past bedtime. I told DS7 half an hour ago to go brush his teeth. He said, "But I haven't had dessert yet!" and I said, "You haven't cleaned the room up yet, either, but it's still bedtime. Sorry!"

So naturally they horsed around upstairs (nowhere near the bathroom, of course...) So I ran upstairs. Little feet heard big feet coming and ran for the bathroom, but the big feet beat them there.

So I put toothpaste on toothbrushes and told the kids to "get brushing!"

Of course now they're STILL in the bathroom horsing around...

You know what I am craving?? Spaghetti.. :confused3 What the heck?:lmao: I must be crazy!
