Not a whole lot.

How about you?

Went to my inlaw's on the coast for the 4th. Weather was misty and about 60 degrees, it quit raining in the evening, so we went to the beach, had a campfire and let off fireworks. But the fog rolled in and it was windy, so we didn't stay for long. I headed back to the house early with the inlaws. DH & the kids stayed for a while longer.

On the way back to the house they seen a baby seal, so they stopped for a closer look. DD has always loved seals, so it was a real treat for her. The mama seals leave them on the beach to rest while they go out hunting. You are allowed to look at them, but not touch. It was right near where all of the cars were driving on the beach, so DH parked in front of it so none of the crazy drivers would run over it in the dark.:thumbsup2

Came home this afternoon to, you guessed it, more rain! DS stayed up there for a few days, DD is supposed to race tomorrow, but might be cancelled because of the rain.

Tomorrow I plan on grocery shopping, cleaning house and getting caught up on sewing my Christmas bags.

I don't know about your DH, but I don't take clothing and fashion advice from a man that wears underwear until they literally fall apart, socks that have no elastic left in them, and still has a t-shirt from the first concert he ever attended (and thinks it's still nice enough to wear out to dinner)!
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

He still has his Pleasure Island Black Satin Jacket from 1993 when he worked there. Like I'm thinking a black satin jacket was about 15 years out of style then!!!! :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

Well I have been lazy for the last couple of days, and I plan on being lazy tomorrow too!

So there!!

Sounds like a good costume to me!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Ooooooooooooooh! He can wear it to MNSSHP!!

Maybe you wouldn't because of what you have gone through, and that is very understandable. But there are men out there who would be. They'd try to be the gentleman, and not look, but then wouldn't know where to look. That would be Dave. You see what I mean? I believe we need to be sensitive to other's feelings, even if it is not our own.

I tried breastfeeding, but it just wasn't working for me & the babies. So I gave up after about a week.

In reality, I would probably never run around naked chested, just out of respect of other's and my own desire to not be arrested. :lmao: But I guess the modesty side of me in regards to my breasts is just totally gone. I never used to wear low cut shirts and now I do. Which just cracks me up when a man looks at my chest now. I want to holler "Dude, one is real and one is rearranged belly fat!". I find it absolutely hilarious that most men don't think belly fat on women is attractive, yet push it into a mound 6 inches up your chest and they think it looks great!:lmao:

Ya! Aint that the truth!!

Went to a garage sale at the VFW on the coast near my in-laws house. They had every Disney VCR movie you could think of for $2.50. My MIL said they have the garage sale almost every holiday. So if anyone is missing an obscure Disney movie from their collection and want's something let me know and I'll get it the next time. We had somewhere over the years lost The Black Cauldron and The Little Mermaid, so we replaced those.
We've lost Mulan! I loved that movie!!

Oh no, not 15 years! I graduated in '83 and they were very much in style then!:thumbsup2 I had two of them, one pink and one burgundy. My little sister had a white one and a blue one!:thumbsup2

I was reading the other day that Pleasure Island is closing. I never did go to any of the nightclubs (kids were always with me), but that kind of sucks for everyone that did. Everytime I was there they seemed like there were a lot of people going in and out.:confused3

I'll let my MIL know and she can swing by there the next time they have the garage sale. She said they have it several times a year, especially during the summer and on holiday weekends. They had about 10 boxes of Disney VCR movies, all nice and clean and in cases. Boy I was thinking about all of the money that I could have saved over the years buying them for $2.50 instead of $25!:lmao:

In regards to your signature,

By the Way Alison, I said that quote. Just wanted to clarify that. It was at a busy party and the rum was flowing and I'm sure no one remembers it so it became an Unknown quote but it was really me. I think some latin stripper was doing a body shot off of me at the time.

Jeff came in after I had filled 3 yes 3 of them and said that I need to keep them so when I lose weight then I can wear them again. Its not like I'm holding onto size 2 clothing. They are just 2 sizes smaller than I am not so its easily (not so easily) an obtainable goal right?

Well, I'm sick of them. When I do get back down to that size I want to buy NEW clothes. Not wear faded old t-shirts from 3 years ago. UGH. I kept my favs that were in great condition but when I get back to the size I would like to be I'm going on a shopping spree.

I feel like this huge weight has been lifted off me by doing this. Isnt it strange. I guess decluttering is good for the soul.
Makes sense to me! So here's what's going to happen:

1. Murphy's Law: As soon as you toss out too-small clothing, you will lose weight. (Ain't it great?!) :rotfl:
2. You'll be motivated to lose even more!
3. You have an excuse for a shopping spree!
4. You will actually enjoy the shopping experience (unlike when you feel fat, which is torturous to clothing shop!)

I would dearly love to get my hands on Songs of the South or whatever the Uncle Remus movie is called. I never saw it, but my sister's favorite book from our childhood was a collection of Uncle Remus stories. Politically incorrect or not, I love those stories. :lovestruc

Too true! :rotfl2:

And that would have done your kids alot of good wouldn't it?? Poor things.....................having to wait until they'd out grown them, to buy the movies.
What a Scrooge!!! :sad2:

I thought those words were in the Leeann Womack song I Hope You Dance... but I just looked up the lyrics, and they're not!

WAS THAT YOU???

You really ARE a (bad girl)!!! :lmao:

And I was wrooo... wrooooooooo... mistaken. :rolleyes1

It's closing?? What gives?

Not a lot of explanation to be found, just lots of speculation. The only thing I can find that Disney says is they want to add more dining, shops and get back to more family oriented venues.

To be honest I think they were having a lot of problems at Pleasure Island with things getting out of control. But that's pretty normal at any nightclub venue that attracts younger people. Every time I was at DTD during the evening there were always tons of Orange County Sherriff's cars and they seemed to be pretty busy hauling trouble makers out. Maybe not exactly what parents with little kids wanted to see while sitting in the parking lot waiting to catch buses back to their resort.:confused3 :confused3
