Hubby is on his "run" and happily snoring. He got to do the entire set up and get himself "on" to dialyze.

No cramping and he has one hour left to go

We had one alarm .. learned how to deal with his "waste line" being blocked.. I had to use a syringe and clear the line-- one more thing learned check

morning ladies, busy morning...we have (sorry I) have to get the house cleaned up...with 4 kids...s 1 yr olds, (one my sister other one of my friends) and a 5yr and 3 yr...can you say lucky me???....my friend had some inportant apppts. today and couldn't find a sitter...LUCKY ME...

anyway, we are having friends over for dinner so I have to get the alfredo sauce going and a few other things to go with it....(i do love the alfredo sauce...it just takes a while for it to thicken and melt the cheese...so hopefully I won't burn it chasing all these rugrats...

I just got breakfast mess cleaned up and now I have to think about lunch...(good lord I forgot how much work this many little guys are)

Good Morning my little Hyena Helpers! I have decided to enlist your help in an experiment of mine. Every day I will post what I have eaten and you can then scold/lecture me if I eat too much junk!

Yesterday...
Bfast: Coffee, banana, string cheese
Snack: Nectarine, water
Lunch: Ham, swiss, tomato, lettuce on ciabatta bread, 2 apricots, water
Snack: Nectarine, tea
Dinner: Jasmine rice, grilled chicken breast, grilled veggies (yellow squash, onion, purple cabbage, regular cabbage, asparagus), cantaloupe
Snack: Nectarine

Today...
Bfast: Broccoli, cauliflower, coffee (1/2 cup), hot tea (that I just dumped down the front of me!)

So far, so good! See, this will keep me right on track if I know that other's are reading it.

Good morning Gals!
Well for me it's almost dinner time. I had a fairly simple day. I slept in until 11 because I haven't been able to sleep at night as usual and then I went for lunch with dh and then I came home, did laundry and cleaned the bathroom. FUN!

So for awhile now I've been working up the courage to see a surgeon about my deviated septum because I can't breathe but I'm a chicken. So anyways, I found this doctor a year ago but finally got up the nerve to book a consultation and the soonest I could get in is one year from now!

Anyways, I thought about it later and now I'm all worried about cost because I have to pay to fly back for the consultation adn then fly back again for the surgery 2-5 months later. So today I decided to call and see what my options would be since I'm flying overseas, I wanted to see if I could book a time slot for the actual surgery but I spent so much time practicing what I was going to say to get my wording just right that when I actually called I was so panicked I was shaking and couldn't think straight. I'm such a turd, I have no idea what I did to myself. Anyways as soon as I hung up the phone I thought of all these other questions to ask There is no way I'm calling back today though, they'll think I'm craaaaaaazy.

Well duh! I just started playing it again! I haven't played Diablo 2 since high school. It doesn't save your characters. I had a high level Barbarian. My bf had a high level Druid. We used to play online all the time, but if you don't use your account after a certain # of days (I believe it's 30 days) Blizzard deletes it from their server.

Tell your DS to try playing Diablo 2- the cow level. That is crazy! It's this level where a ton of cows with axes come at you. Has he played hell mode? That's fun to do after you beat the game in normal mode. I'm playing w/ the expasion pack.

My bf still has all his characters saved on one of his hard drives. I'm not sure how he did it, but he's my little computer wizard

I know. DH is already telling DS7 to "suck it up" or "man up". It annoys the crap outta me! I always said I would never tell my kids they couldn't cry or that he needed to be a man. But DS7 does cry, and loudly, at very minor little things, so we are trying to get him to toughen up a little. If you're seriously injured, then YES, cry at the top of your lungs! But if you have a little scratch, or your brother called you "stupid" again, then there is no reason to wail so the whole world hears you!


Damn. I hate it when I get insightful, too.

We have been telling the kids to suck it up since birth. Shake it off! If there is no bone sticking out, you are FINE!

ANYWAYS... We had our little meltdown at the pool today. I dont think Mikalah had enough sleep last night, because all of the sudden, she DID NOT want to go swimming. She was bawling, and we had to take her home. I was so BUMMED. I wanted the hubby to see her swim! But she was having no part of it. I asked her if she still wanted to swim, and she said yes, just not today. She said she was tired.. and wanted to go home and lay down. okay. Whatever. We MIGHT have over done it a bit this week.

Christina! I'm sorry to hear that you have a deviated septum. I hope you are able to find a solution to help you. I can see how it's difficult for you since you are overseas. Don't feel bad about the phone call.....if I try to plan what I'm going to say over the phone I screw up too. My bf has the same problem. I hope everything works out for you!

I went to Walmart during my break this morning. They completely remodelded the store and it looks all clean and organized. It doesn't look ghetto anymore like it did before (it was a mess).

While I was there I was a greeted by an Oreo cookie mascot and Mr. Peanut (Planter's peanuts). He even had a black cane and I thought that was hilarious to see them.

I bought a can of Starbucks doubleshot energy + coffee. It was less than $3 at Walmart. It has Guarana, Ginseng and B Vitamins in it.


Last night I saw this huge spider in our kitchen. It was black and its body was the size of a quarter. I freaked out and couldn't reach it, so I used my Ortho home defense (which sprays far) and hit it with the bug spray. Then it fell and my bf smashed it with a fly swatter. Good team work!

The exterimnator is coming back today. They did a really crappy job and did not spray much at all. They were in and out of the house in 3 minutes and they charged us double. He also did not spray the garage.

It took him almost 3 days to return our phone call. The receptionist lied and said the technician didn't have a cell phone (when he was here the 1st time he was talking on the cell phone). Then she kept saying he would return our calls, which he didn't. We actually have more spiders now than from when he was here. Next time we are switching to Terminex.

Since I've moved to my new flat I haven't seen any scary spiders (knock on wood). You seem to have a million spider encounters at your place, I don't think I will move where you live.
On the bright side, at least that spider wasn't on the ceiling!

You are very lucky! I don't live in the boonies or anything but I think it's because it's been over a year since we last sprayed our house. Western Exterminator is the worst. We are still waiting for them to show up! They said he would be here at 12pm, we called now since it's an hour later. Now they are saying that they told us after 12pm. I said fine, then around what time and they said they can't get hold of the guy that is supposed to be here.

We won't be using them again. They are horrible! We used to have 2 technicians before this guy and they were friendly and sprayed our home as well as my relatives and my parents home for years. Then they quit and now their customer service is very poor.

We will definitely be switching to Terminex. The only reason we called this guy back is because he did a poor job and charged us double!

Awe that sucks pixter, hopefully they can get rid of your bugs this time. I hope they aren't charging you to fix the job they didn't do the first time. Maybe you should get a kitty, cats eat the bugs.
