Chattanooga Shooting...4 Marines Dead

The alleged gunman in Thursday's shootings in Chattanooga, Tennessee, was Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez, according to two sources briefed on the case. He was born in 1990, a law enforcement official said.

Four Marines were killed when a gunman attacked two military sites in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on Thursday, the U.S. Navy said.

The suspected shooter is also dead, Chattanooga Mayor Andy Berke said.

I am. I'm about 2 1/2 hours from Chattanooga, been many times to the area though.

What is it that you want me to say? I viewed it. Your conclusion that we have 'no love' for Marines is such a non-sequiter that I hardly know where to start.

Your earlier comment about "gloves off" made my head hurt. Exactly what is it that you want us to do?

Not making comments about the Marines' deaths on a Disney board, I'm sure, has nothing to do with how a lot of us feel about these horrible deaths.

I live in Chattanooga. One of the shootings happened right up the road from where I work. We were on lockdown for over an hour. The second shooting happened across the street from where my husband works. (He was not on duty at the time.) And the suspect's house that was raided is about a mile from where I live. You think these things won't happen in your city or your town. But it can happen anywhere. It was a sobering and sad day here. There entire community is devastated about the loss of 4 Marines.
