Chat unavailable?

I've tried to speak with someone via chat for the past few days and keep being redirected to call in about my current reservation from an automated response. Does anyone know if this is temporary or do I have to call in now?

What you are getting is the sales chat and not the MS chat. Are you logged in when you try? Or did you buy chance look at the add on tool during the session?

The MS chat will just ask for your name and list current reservation, membership, etc as options.
 
Oh that makes sense! I wonder why I am getting that though.. I am signed in and clicking the chat button on my member dashboard 🤔

I get it sometimes too. I log out and log back in and wait until it shows up on the side again.
 
Has anyone else not been able to get the chat bubble to pop up recently? We have a few trips coming up and I've been trying for nearly a week to chat in for a room request but the chat icon never appears! Three different browsers, incognito/private modes, throughout the entire day and nothing :'(

If Chat doesn’t pop up, I email my requests via the link under Contact Us. I love Chat, but I’m too impatient to wait for it.
 
I have not had any problems with chat.
Perhaps you could try a call in to MS?
 
I HAVE had issues, yesterday chat said unavailable multiple times on my desktop browser and didn’t even show on my mobile.

There were a couple times I tried to send a message and the chat never connected, just showed “typing…..” for several minutes until I closed the browser

Today it does seem fine.
 
I've been on and off the site over the past week, making a number of changes, combining reservations, wait lists, etc. and have been able to chat every time.
 
A few days ago when I tried to chat to add a room request I would type room request and I would get the box with 4 options to click on that all day to call MS. I tried multiple times to type room request and was never connected to an agent. I was able to successfully connect since then though.
