Chat Tonight

I agree and understand what you are saying.

Thanks for not flaming me. :thumbsup2

BTW, do you want a white or gold jumpsuit for the cruise? I am making sure that you will have one, you know, just in case ...... :lmao:

My guess is that the suits the women's volleyball team wears give them the best freedom of movement, and don't seem to move at all on their bodies. The design seems to be a sports-bra type top with a bottom that looks all the world like the runner's bottoms. I know a one-piece suit would seem to restrict flexibility of the torso somewhat (okay, maybe that's only my suit, made with industrial-strength rubber to hold in all the bits).

I agree Mindy! i thought i was watching the wrong volleyball, cause i saw almost the same outfits as most of the female runners were wearing. Am i missing a point?

If I looked like those Olympic Athletes...I would play nekked!!

Maybe not...but I would love to be in the shape they are.

I am sure they do not eat as much cake and pie as I do!!

As long as their "lady and man" parts are covered, let them wear what they want. I think we have to accept that this in an international event and there are many parts of the world with different levels of modesty. I saw a female runner the other night covered from head to toe. Her choice.

so last night at 4 am i was watching the olympics and i really think they gave up i was watching race walking. i dont get it????? race walking?????

This already *is* a cake thread. BEEFCake & CHEESECake! ;)

You know, if you can make that jumpsuit with the same industrial-strength rubber panels as the bathing suit...make mine gold.

OK, I don't want to stir the pot too much, but I really wonder if the female runner you saw (I saw her too) was really covered from head to toe by her choice. She might not have had a choice about it at all. There was another story about an Afganastani women Olympic 1500m runner who "disappeared", and had her life threatened because she was competing.

I am waiting for the swimmers to race naked. <sarcasm>

I think that is the next step, isn't it? As for beach volleyball, we have a one year old daughter and four nieces under the age of 11 and it bothers me to think that they will grow up seeing this type of behavior. I don't approve of it.

That's why I like Disney. They try to stay more family friendly than the other entertainment outlets.

Don't take this the wrong way, but people can change the channel or turn off the TV of they see something they don't approve of something.

I do quite a bit in fact.

:scared1: What if my wife won't let me? Or worse..someone like Jason...hes mean...

Actually, it's my daughters first birthday tomorrow, and we are having cupcakes with vanilla, chocolte, and buttercream frosting.

And we have purchase a special cake for the baby to consume that is shaped like a number one.

And we are having the following foods:
hamburgers
hotdogs
brats
meatballs
chicken breast
chips
mexican dip
fruit salad
potato salad
macaroni salad
regular salad
cole slaw
etc.

I am all for cake right now, but I could also go for some French Silk Pie from Perkins. We were staying at Disney once and we got one for the four of us. I have never felt so full in my entire life. WE ATE THE WHOLE THING THAT NIGHT.

Anyway, change the channel, eat cake, and party!:yay:
