Why can't5 I chat? Since chaging to aol, it won't let me chat, I've tried re-registering

Verity, log onto AOL as normal, then open Internet Explorer in a different window - go into chat through that. Should be fine. I cannot get into chat through AOL either and have to do the IE thing
